Pipe whiner was the one that got me wanting to do the swap to begin with, and was working with him to get an adapter plate made then I fell onto a 94 dodge truck for way to cheap to pass up so I settled for a 12v swap

I tried talkin to pipewhiner to get an adapter for a p7100, but he never responded so I searched and found someone else. I had a lot of questions for him for advice, but it didn't work out with him not responding, so I dug in! Not hard, just a lot of work

Well, have my p7100 and sticks down at contagious diesel bein modded, muller performance is making my adapter and gear hub and hopefully gettin me some pushrods and valve springs. Found a guy in Missouri has an ag balancer for me for 75 plus the ride. Soon I'll call hart's diesel for my ss .093 lines, then it's on to driveshafts and a destroked stand alone for my Allison! Ahhh, I love progress! Still need to find a good hx50 so I can build my compounds!

Are you going to use the HX 50 as the high pressure turbo??? Or for the low pressure turbo???

I think you will have a nice running engine!!!

What HP numbers are you shooting for??

The hx50 will be my primary with the ht4 as my atmosphere. My ht4 is around 85mm inducer. I'm shooting for anywhere from 800-1000 at the wheels, but my goal is also to keep it streetabla as a dd and tow rig!

Should work really good!!! A HX50 with a 16cm or smaller maybe even a 14cm housing with a gate should work really good!!!

And since you are feeding it with a 85mm turbo you should be good for about 800 or more RWHP with that air flow range..

Very nice!!!!

What all is bing done to the pump and Injectors??

Talkin to Matt via text right now... Pump is done, and he is cross referencing some nozzle info, but he has some that will work good. For my application and goals, he opted for 5x20 sacs! At the rate he's going I'll have em on my doorstep end of this week or early next week!

No track or dyno close. When I get it all together I'm gonna tow it down to contagious and Matt and I are gonna put it on a dyno and dial it in!

Yeah, I'm not cutting corners on this motor. Matt and I opted to go more extreme on my pump and injectors because of my long term plans of a ported head, billet rotating assembly and plans of 1500hp or so. We may go with brand new injectors as Matt is questioning the bodies of mine as of noon today. If that's the case I'll have 1500 into my pump and sticks alone. I sent him the check for the pump tonight as that's almost done so it'll be at my door in a few days. He knows that he has my permission to do what he feels will be the best route for my build. I see it as I better do it right the first time! I won't be able to afford another motor for a long time after all I'm sinking into this truck!

Found an ag balancer for 87 bucks shipped outta missouri, hopefully between that and some water pump pulley work I can squeeze in a 6.0 fan. Pump adapter and gear will be here mid next week! Guess I better finish mounts and tear it back down so I can blast the frame and re paint it soon and do final assembly! Gonna have to order some 3.73 gears for the front end and a rebuild kit too. Next on the list of buys, driveshafts! Gettin closer slowly but shurely!

Well, got my water pump pulley setup modded, removing the truck balancer tomorrow so I can get the ag balancer on. Pump came back last night. Just a little 480cc! Plenty for my wants... For now. Was supposed to have my adapters and springs and pushrods by now, but haven't heard back on em. Matt hopes my injectors should be done this week. If that's the case, she'll be gettin pretty close. Going to try out a manifold off a international 1066 tractor. It's similar in design to a 3rd gen cummins manifold but for the dt series engines. Now I just need lines, a lift pump and an hx50 and finish my piping and I should be able to start it.

Truck balancer (blue) vs my new agricultural balancer...

The agricultural balancer mounts backwards so the larger ring will be toward the block unlike the truck balancer where the large part was away from the block. Should give me enough clearance to run a 6.0 fan and now I'll be able to change my belts haha

Still need to gain more room at the water pump for the 6.0 fan! Have a few ideas that should give me enough without major revisions

Definately making it known this is ih power, not cummins! The final paint scheme under the hood has been determined! All exhaust side components, injection lines, intake manifold, pulleys and accessories will be black! Intake side of turbos, intercooler piping, intake piping and brackets will be ih blue!
