Guys can someone help me identify this.

Modded H2e:
Compressor Inducer: 69-70mm
Compressor Exducer: 100mm
Exhaust Inducer: 70-71mm
Exhaust Exducer: 80mm

Anyone know what version of the modded h2e this or where i can find flow specs for it!?

No markings on the exhaust housing to indicate what size it is

If anyone can help me on the H2e sizing that would be awesome, probably will be having jake set me up with a mount so i can get it on the truck and try it out here one of these weeks.

The GT4294 and 250/200's have been a great combination for me. Really fast spool up, stock dd characteristics, awesome mileage, great for towing, and still enough to push me into the 12's. Really pretty budget minded too considering I bought it as a junker for $350! LOL

I'll let y'all know the differences between it and the GTX4294 that should be here Tuesday.

I have 2 questions.

First, what is a stock H2E comparable to and what can it support?

Second, its sorta been covered in here but how hard would it be to adapt a T4 turbo(S300) onto a T4i mount? I might get a H2E now, but in the future i plan on stepping up to a S300/S400/HX55 or something around that.

Imo I wouodnt even go h2e... just for the fact that you are thinking on an upgrade in the future... im not surehow they compare bt I know the s366 is around 1100 cfm. You will have way more options with the t4 mount

An h2e can be pushed over 600 hp, i believe that turbo is capable of being machined out to a 76mm if i read correctly. And stock for is like 62mm

So if your wanting a turbo for now and for in the future the h2e would be a good option, although im not sure if its the best option! its been proven that is for sure, as lots of people ran it.

If your not planning on going very big and just want a great 400-450hp truck then there are lots and lots of options and i dont think anyone has the answer on which is best haha. D66, h2e, s366, 38r, hx50/55.... I am sure there are more if you get creative but those seem to be the ones that pop into my head

Well i just got off the phone with the guy with the H2E, and it sold already. So unless i come across another deal i doubt i'll be getting one.

So this brings me to another question. What are all the different "junkyard" turbo's, and what can they be found on?

Like if i were to go somewhere that scraps or parts-out big trucks, what would the different motors be to look for if i wanted say a HX55, S300/S400, GT40, etc... I know that the H2E's are found on L10 Cummins, but thats about it.

And i'm not really worried about mounting it, i can take care of that. I just gotta find a turbo to use.

Gt4294, HT3b, HX55, HT60, etc. Just go to a local truck junk yard or cruise craigslist. When you find one you think might work, research it and pick it up!

Detroit diesel-gt4294 and 4202
Cummins-ht3b, hx55, h2e, ht60

Not sure on others.

Whats the cfm flow on a 38r? Also its a 66/88 so how xoes it compare to the modded h2e?

The 38R I think only flow 950 MAX in the right conditions. So the Modded H2E would out flow it..

At sea level I would not take the 38R above 35 to 37 PSI (37 on the high side) But the highr you go the less PSI you should run it. Other whys you will runit right out of the Compressure map, AND that gets hard on turbos. And it will not gain you a thing other then HOT air..

So sounds like the turbo i picked up, nick named the "sled screamer" is actually a hybrid between an s300 and a k31. Supposed to be able to support 600hp on fuel and spool decent from doing some reading on it.

Guess i will have to find out for myself, anyone need a hx55?? ive got one with the mount and a downpipe!

It should light super easy and run pretty damn well. I can't say that I have ever ran that exact combo thought - I would venture to say that a backpressure gauge would be a good thing - it might be pushing it at WOT conditions.
