I ran my 7.3 like that for about a week until I got my stacks on.
My truck now just has a 4' pipe stuck on the end of the down pipe with a 45* turn down. Still just as loud only now its behind the cab.

How is the truck running Dan?

Cruising I've seen 8-12 most of the time, as high as 15.

If I romp on it a little the deltas get lower. Make sense?

About 30 mins from home

Hm…your oil cooler was replaced right?
My highest delta was @ 199° and 213° And that was getting in it real hard. With a new cooler I'd expect the delta to be <10, but I'm sure someone more experienced will chime in.

Nearly every cooler I've done (quite a few), had at MOST 7-9* deltas.

Like I stated earlier...that last flush would have made me very very Leary.

I was under the impression that you should flush on the old cooler, because it could stir up sediments from the initial casting. Which could go through and clog the cooler.

Idk, I was driving it easy and it was prob 65-70* outside.

Anyways, made it home. Truck seems to run well other than delta issue. The 5" exhaust sounds REALLY good

I did notice that I have a exhaust rattle, I think the downpipe needs some adjustment to get it off the firewall maybe. Also i was braking semi-hard for a red light and heard a clunk, then a louder harder clunk. Thought it was the brakes, but I think it was the exhaust. When I shut the doors once I got home I heard metal rattling so i'm thinking one of the clamps came loose or off.

this TS is kinda screwy too. The thing was reading 3000* egts at first and still only shows my truck doing a max of 2psi of boost. So who knows if it's even reading my temps right

High 170s low 180s ect
High 180s low 190s eot

At idle it's only 3-5 difference?

You need a thermostat to start with. But that shouldn't affect deltas...the lower the ect, the lower the eot should be regardless of ect....

Was a ford cooler used or a dorman?

Fwiw I've never seen 15* deltas in a new Ford oil cooler.

To be honest I'm not sure I assumed a ford one but I'll have to ask

I highly doubt he used a dorman to be honest...most reputable shops wouldn't even think about it.

I'd just drive it as planned...if it clogs I imagine Adam will make it right.
