5r110 to 4r100 swap

you driven a high hp 6.0 or 6.4 with a properly tuned BTS 4r?

600hp 6.0 Tuned by Matt with a fresh BTS.

I'm more interested with a pcs tuned 5r than anything. Having the inconsistency would be gone with a different controller. No doubt the 4r works. But I think for the majority of people the 5r is workable.

The 4r is a totally different experience when you have big (1000+) hp and it utilizes it all.

We're moving on to see what the 6r will do now. Manual shift control and tc lockup in every gear ftw! But, it lost 4th gear already lol.

Wasn't my intention of this thread. My original question was what is required to do the swap.

Didn't realize it would become such a debate lol, I had only seen one or two threads on the swap before and it seemed like everyone liked it.

There's always two sides I suppose.

This is what I am interested in. Can't wait to see what this trans can do. Also hope it will be able to be swapped into other applications.

4r swap was the best thing i ever did. I had a twisted stage 3 and fully built suncoast. Changed tuning several times and finally bit the bullet. I straight up rape my truck and it never misses a beat.

The easy thing to do man is just call Bts they will send u every that u need and walk u through the swap

Subscribed, next 6.4 will more than likely be getting a built 4r and i've got a buddy contemplating this for his 04 6.0..
