Gaskets came in yesterday. Finished up some loose ends and have started to bolt up the manifolds for good. I started to work on the drivers side when I realized I forgot about the exhaust back pressure sensor. I plan to tap it into the 6.4 manifold, but I was hoping that someone could confirm for me that I need the EBP sensor. For some reason I remember someone telling me that the 6.0's programming ditched the use of the EBP sensor.

Depends on the strategy. Not all of them use it, but some do. Maybe talk to one of the tuners to get that nailed down.

I taped the 6.4 manifold for the EBP sensor just to have it anyway.

Here is today's finish point, should be ready to start it up by wednesday night assuming a couple parts show up as expected.

Another photo update. Tomorrow I hope to make the pre-turbo piping and then finish all the welds. Wednesdays schedule should be connecting all the electronics up and then connecting the down-pipe to the exhaust then cross my fingers.

Maybe I missed it...but were is the coolant tank going? I'm sure it'll be an aftermarket one like a Canton tank right?

Yes compressor inlet pipe will be very tight. I am not 100% certain yet but I my try to sneak it between the oil filter and intake elbow to the manifold, and maintain stock location (obviously different orientation though).

As for the coolant tank, it will not be moving but, I will be fabing one tonight from aluminum plate.

Thanks for all the support fella's!!

That is a beauty!!! How long till start up?

Oh and I hope I didn't miss it but, who's tuning are you using?

I hope to have it running tomorrow night, but that may be delayed, my pregnant wife is having a craving and demanding we go out to eat..

I have no idea whose tuning I will use. I wil need to use someone who is close/willing to travel to live time the setup. First I need to get the electrics finished.

All the piping is tack welded, but I ran out of gas. No, literally, I ran out of argon gas :fustrate: Tomorrow is another day... I am really starting to get a hang of TIGing, too bad i will have perfected my technique by the end of this project.

Here is a couple photo's of tonight's work including a better shot of the last image of the engine compartment.
