Anyone have a picture of how they strap their front end down at the track? Or a good explanation.

It's not needed unless ur shocks are wasted. Lotta guys cutting mid to low 1.6's. But radius arm to frame is the best. I have some pics on psn from when I strapped for sled pulling.

My shocks feel fine, but maybe they are bad. last time at the track, would hop super bad if I launched harder than 14 psi of boost. Best 60 was 1.75. Got some straps to try out tomorrow.

So my general question has to do with my driving/steering.

truck keeps pulling left and had slop to the left w/ a small "pop" in the steering.
First I had the passenger side tie rod end replaced (they said driver side was fine) - helped temporarily
Then I replaced the drag link- helped temporarily
Now I'm having it again! I am thinking of replacing the driver side tie rod.
My tire shop said ball joints looked good. I don't know what else it could be. I have cranked on the trac bar as well to make sure it's tight.

A pop? Can you feel this in the steering wheel? If there is a audible pop it would have to be in one of the joints that move as you turn the wheel. Maybe the gear box itself.

I can definitely feel it in the steering wheel. I feel like I can faintly hear it. It's only when turning the wheel to the left. Steering feels tight when turning to the right. That's why I was thinking tie rod end on drivers side.

Got another general driving question. My rear end bounces like crazy between 50-55. Enough to shake the bed. I can drive out of it after 55 but it still is faint. Doesn't feel like the front is shaking, and the steering wheel stays perfectly still. Did it before I had wheels balanced, and still does it after wheels were balanced and rotated. Where should I start looking?

do you have traction bars? That helped mine a lot.
after that I'd look at making sure your drive shaft is balanced.

Mine has always done that. Lifted and lowered. I get it on the freeway mostly.

Mine started bouncing after I installed my traction bars. I put new shocks on and if stopped. Rancho 9000s

Is your driveshaft carrier bearing dropped? Mine did something similar after I lifted it, before I dropped the carrier bearing. Also felt it at medium throttle leaving a stop

No carrier bearing. Apparently the extended cab short beds come with a 1 piece driveshaft.
