I just wanted to discuss how much I love my 6.4! Stock turbo, stock fuel, and 85,000 trouble free miles. I love working on it, I love riding in it, and I def love driving it! I still giggle to myself when I can get on it at a mile high and throw the tail end out with barely a haze coming from the duals- all while sitting in the comfort of a big cab, nice chair with some tunes bumpin. Im at the point where I feel like I have a almost perfect daily driver truck- Spartan 275 race tune, 4 inch turbo back duals, intake, turbo blankets, rear blocks out, gasser shocks, rancho 9000s, traction bars, dual stabilizers, and a fresh orange elite tranny with triple disc converter. The only thing I think could make it better is knowing I have it fully studed, and full egr delete. O ya and it sounds bitchin! at idle and WOT. Alright I expressed my love :D The End

Yes on the traction bars. Where would I go to get a driveshaft balanced though?[/block

Did ti start right after installing the bars? If so, do you have any taper in your blocks?

Nope, it was slight before installing the bars. It's just gotten progressively worse as time has gone by. And yes on the taper in the blocks.

I miss being this happy about my truck. I definitely had the most fun in my truck running the piss out of it on the 250 tune. Those were the good old days. Now i'm afraid that if I go over half throttle I'll have to fix something...:flush:

Damn, what happened?

As far as the air dam I think I paid like $30 for the 2wd one from tasca ford. I wouldn't even bring it up to the tow company for that little.

If it's only $30 I'm not gonna bother them with it. I made them tow it really far with my AAA :clapping:

Fuel line either popped off or exploded. Whole truck died no power steering or brakes. I tried to put it in neutral and re-start the truck coasting down the road but it just cranked. Diesel everywhere thats what the line is on the roll back under the truck

turns out taking off the leaky relief kit was a bad call. The fuel line blew from a pressure spike

EGR question: Spartan tuned. Been running the 275 tune for years, then 300 tune when it came out. Recently turned it down to the 250, throws a code, "insufficient air flow, EGR" Something like that. I'm guessing EGR needs to be cleaned. My question, is it safe to continue to drive it as is? If the EGR is clogging, what am I risking here by driving it?

Truck is still under warranty, I'll delete the EGR once it runs out.

My truck did the same thing when I first tuned it(sct though). First time I just cleared the code and after it sat overnight it was good. Second time, I had more problems to where I was driving and could hardly get to 30mph. The 3rd and final time I happened to have the dpf back on(I thought I had to for inspection back then) so I took it to the dealer and they had to replace the egr valve. To get it there, i had to go 25mph for quite a while with really slow acceleration. I'd do something about it if I were you...

I'm still under warranty, but a few months back I had to get a new radiator so I got Matt to delete the egr while he was in there.

Every time I clear the code, it comes back(250 tune), typically sitting at a red light. I'm guessing that's when the EGR valve cycles in that tune. I switched back to the 300 tune, I guess it doesn't cycle the EGR valve, so no code. I was trying to wait a couple months before I take it in, but if it's a simple as them just replacing the valve, might as well go ahead and take it in.
