Got some news on the truck today that it won't be done for awhile. Local machine shop is busy due to pulling and racing season.

I stuck the stack in my dads truck to see how it would look.

Has anyone noticed a difference running a Melling LPOP? ( difference in start up and idle etc.) My LPOP is what let go in the first place and this was the only "upgrade" i heard about/found.

Is that needed with 300/200s and a single HPOP? Or is the Melling at its limit? I do not plan on bumping up to 400/400 etc. Maybe some spray later.

Single HPOP, probably not needed. Just won't see full potential with using a single pump.

Called them about it and I heard the words "lower failure rate" and that was all I needed to hear. Decided to do it as an insurance item. They said it has been run on stock injectors/HPOP.

Low icp? Whats that have to do with mileage? And the spray isnt lacking with a 200% nozzle. Im not sure what you were told but an 80% nozzle and a 200% nozzle are both virgin nozzles, the edges of the orifices over which the fuel passes are the same and atomization will be too.

What is PW on a 200% at while cruising at 35mph with high ICP? I would think at some point you need to pull ICP to meet MFD since the injectors can only fire so fast. The shortest PW I've seen on my 80% nozzles is 1.3ms before it drops to 0.6ms when the IVS switch kicks in. To get equal atomization between stock and 200% nozzles, won't you need the same nozzle pressure? I'm still trying to learn, so what am I missing?

Ive never looked. It probably depends on what gear its in. I hate when the trans shifts early and the ***kin truck is looking for an appropriate time to inject fuel. Which is what it sounds like you are referring to.

Ive never had issues with pw on an 80% nozzle being on/off, on/off. I can relate to it with 200% nozzles but n9y since I got injectors from pis.

And I wouldnt say you try to approximate the stock idle. As my swamps and pis injectors have both idled better. With and without tuning. My pis 250/200s idle nicer than ANY 7.3 ive heard before. Tim can get on nerves but his injectors have been phenomenal. And that's what matters.

Dont mind the jabbering. I was trying to troubleshoot an intermittent idle issue. That was an icp sensor.

I want to drop the "Off-Road" skid plate that is on the truck for weight reduction. Anybody know how much weight I could potentially save?

Finally got around to making a prototype for the grille emblem. Should have the final aluminum version done later today.
