How's the saying go build it, race it, break it, repeat.

I sure hope a aermet shaft holds up now lol! JD, is your pump modified at all for your trans?

I've often wonder if 300M is just too damn brittle to take shock loading...
According to JD its taken tons of abuse. His truck is 8600+/- lbs and probably one of the higher tq 6.4's period due to retaining a vgt high pressure.
I would say 300m would probably hold up to 90% of trucks.
didnt hold up to mine and it was stock fuel...
Yeah I made a blanket statement when obviously there are a million factors. I'm sure there's a way to break an aermet shaft too..
I'm just saying if it survived on jd's truck for that long then a quality 300m shaft is pretty strong.
there is no doubt that Tadd builds one of the best 5R transmissions out there. Mine is still alive from DPC 2010 which is bad ass.
Congrats on the numbers man that is awesome.
FWIW my truck ran 11.51 at badi pretty consistant and went 11.23 at sea level but i dont think i had as much fuel to burn as you do up here.

I assume a new trans cooler just incase there are shavings in it?
