This is how it looked when the motor came out ,

..away from trans then straight up 8 inches. Then forward a foot or so, and straight up. Took 3 minutes from the time the bolts came out of the slots for motor mounts to when I was standing underneath looking at it. Not site why dudes have to pull the headlight panel, it was cake

Because its soooo much easier to remove the header panel and the bumper. It takes 5-7 minutes more and you just walk it right out.

I agree with CSIPSD!!! Done this before and when you remove the whole front its way easier. Especially when it comes to getting it back in and getting everything in line and fitting together. Getting it out is always the easy part!

Well like I say, from when I hooked the chain to completely out was maybe 5 minutes, after a hour dicking with headlight clips I don't think I ever will pull it.
Anyone have any ideas for making something out of the ol pistons and con rods ?

I don't remember headlights being a big deal... It's been a minute though.

Minnesota truck . Twisted both tranny cooler lines off the radiator, using pb and heat, if it didn't have to come off, it didn't .

This is #7 side
You can see a crack through the plug, around the plug, another crack going vertical to the right of the plug, and another about 1/2 inch to the right of the vertical crack
