I dont recommend the turbo over 40psi. My current setup runs 36psi on an e99 setup with the 1.15 housing and larger e series turbine wheel.

The problem that occurs is the shaft can snap when you let out of a hard pull at 40psi or above. Also the thrust bearing, even though a 360 degree, can still fail if the boost/drive pressure ratio is past 1/1.1 boost to drive

I'm interested to know drive pressures, but I bet w/ the larger wheels and the 1.15 housing that drive pressures aren't an issue.. but they would certainly help herd us to a more accurate, safe PSI to run I would think, no? Or are you 100% certain that 40psi is acceptable?

I know we dont have our ebp #s yet, but would an external wastegate help any if the #s aren't very good?

yes that would be an great way to reduce backpressures, but most are not going to install a wastegate on stock up pipes.
