Service Saturday. Truck is officially 10,000 miles on the built motor and trans and besides a few sensors ****ting the bed the truck has been flawless. I beat on this thing daily so that's not a grandpa driven 10,000 miles. Still happy with the setup for sure. A big thanks to Tadd, Jared, and Morgan for answering all my questions on this thing. I'm definitely not a professional and don't claim to be but those guys definitely know their ****.

K&P filter was awesome can't believe how much **** this thing catches and the magnet definitely caught some small pieces.

Got my Fuel Wheel fixed, remounted, and balanced. While they were off I decided to polish them back up.

Hopefully getting on Firepunks dyno towards the end of October along with BlackSmoke08 (Andrew) 6.4 and Nate Bailors 6.4 as well. No clue where the truck is power wise so it should be exciting. Just doing some little things before dyno day comes.

Swapped out the fuel filters... the 2nd filter was a bitch to get to with all the piping and stuff I've added. Oh my lanta might never change that filter again.

New Edge dash mount is way better than hacking the H&S mount to get it to fit. Comes with cts and cts2 mounts which is nice. Also finally got new senors for boost and EGT in for the dyno day.

Also ditched the flopro 4" for a new AFE 5". Overall I'm impressed with how well the AFE kit fits and the quality of it. I'd say it's definitely thicker than the flopro. Also all the mounts fit great utilizing the oem rubber hangers. Very slight decrease maybe 50 degrees in EGTS and back pressure is relatively the same. Tip is a flopro 5 to 7 15" long.

Nothing game changing. It's at Unlimited Diesel Performance getting the updated One Up track rod joint and new fuel rail pressure sensor before she goes in the garage for hibernation. I have a stack of little stuff I'll be doing over the winter before TS Performance next year. Headlights, PTM emblems, diff covers, shocks, rear tint, upfitters, 20" bar in the bumper, speakers etc. Mostly cosmetic stuff. Didn't get a chance to get it on the dyno this year with my work schedule.

I'll be enjoying it on this current setup next summer as much as I can before it goes back under the knife.

Phase 2 of the motor build will hopefully be next winter. Precision 82 compounded with my Precision 6466, 60% sticks, better TC (still on stock converter), and supporting mods for 800 to 900 on fuel street truck. Should be plenty of fun to get in trouble for me. Already been talking to Tadd quite a bit about it. He has some stuff in the works I'll be watching for next year.

Did you ever get it on a dyno?
No unfortunately. Definitely one of my goals for next year though. I know they usually have a dyno at TS Outlaws but if not there I'll probably head up to Fire Punk to see how it does before it gets compounds next winter.

Just a heads up, I smoked my 6466 by getting turbo too hot for too long during repeated dirt dragging. It developed a slight whine, but no other symptoms. A few weeks later it really blew up, instantly unable to produce boost. I should have had it looked at when I heard the whine because it has came apart and some aluminum went into the intercooler and ruined it.

Well that's ****ty. I've put over 10k miles on it so far and I definitely beat on it and no issues yet. I'll keep an eye on it though.

I can't remember if I mentioned it in this thread or Jared's but I was wondering what an air cooled bb turbo would do stuffed way down there like these trucks are. These turbos have very little oil flow so all of the cooling is through the air and air does not transfer heat for shlt.
