That's tuned right Matt? I get ~12.4-12.6 in the city in the ecoboost…and I'm thoroughly unimpressed.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who gets crappy mileage in the Ecoboost. Mine gets 10-11mpg towing an aluminum ATV trailer! WTF!!!! And its at the dealer now with a check engine light on with 36k on it. Felt like it was starving for fuel at moderate throttle.

Don't get me wrong, it's a nice truck, but I wouldn't encourage someone to get one unless they wanted the faint turbo whistle lol. I has a faint occasional shudder at idle, and the trans shifts from 2-3 or 3-4 pretty harshly at times. I drive from here to a track meet in Mobile, roughly 3 hrs both ways, cruise set between 70 and 80(mostly around 75) and I may have gotten 14 according to the trip calc lie-o-meter, that I reset after fueling up right before I left. I could milk low 12s high 11s out of my grandpa's stock 6.4, so I figured the eb would be low 13-high 12s, guess that's what I get for figuring :pointlaugh:

Yeah man. I have 6.5ft bed, 3.31 rear crew cab and have never gotten better than 18mpg and I baby the crap out of the truck. Mine has never seen 21mpg highway! The towing of the aluminum trailer and 10-11mpg is what convinced me to get rid of it.

And I agree...the truck is 10000% times nicer than my Dodge ever was. If I could do it over I would've gotten the 5.0 motor.

5.5(or whatever size) bed, 3.73 rear(I'll have to verify) super crew. Pisses me off that 12.8 is the best I've gotten with a little interstate driving. Love it, but as soon as I can, it will be traded for a 6.7 with comparable miles. At least I won't be expecting good fuel econ…

I was getting 17.5-18 with the stock 275/70/18 shoes & carli lift, now with wheels and mudders, it knocked it down terribly to about 15-15.5. This is all interstate at 75 mpg. However my motor only has 900 miles on it thus far. Should have gone with the 295/60 or 295/65 tires, much lighter and less rotating mass compared to the 35x12.5R20 MTs

I hand calc'd mine yesterday , doing 70-75 all highway , I got 18.7 , lie o Meter said 20.3, stock wheels and tires , h&s performance tune and deleted. Thought that was decent but nothing to get excited over.

I dive 80-85mph everywhere and get an average of 15.2 on lie-o-meter and 14.7 hand calculated. That's stock on 35's and 20's. I'm sure I would gain a few more if I drove the speed limit.

Mine is exactly the same around where I live locally.

My last trip from Central Arkansas to Eastern Pennsylvania between 75-80mph netted me right at 20.6mpg Lie-o-meter registered 22.5.

Configuration of the truck is exactly the same also.

18-19.5 mpg. I am deleted and tuned. I prefer to do my two bits for the environment. I know some people may not agree with me, that's life. With my 40's going down the freeway and my 3.55 gears, @ 9250lbs at 60-65mph, my rpm's are around 12-1300! I really pay attention to how I drive. With the tuner you can burn a lot of fuel, but you can save too if you don't step into it! I've been doing it for about a year now. Tank takes @ 28 gallons (in Canada its 130 litres or just over 28 imp. gals. You will have to understand your conversions but mpg vs volume will be the same), and I can drive low 500, to mid 500's, maybe a little more, depends if its Friday or not lol. The technology is there! We can do better. I believe its all in the gearing. My trans is a 6spd. The market will come out with 8spds and better. Think I've done my math right. Please correct me if I'm wrong. Basically, if you fill your tank the same amount all the time, its pretty easy to figure/average out. I don't rely on the lie-o-meter, just basic math, all it takes. :evil

11' ccsb, 3:55, stock Michelins on 20's, just turned 50,000mi, h&s, deleted, 5" exhaust.

15-17 city empty
12-13 towing enclosed car trailer
In a hurry driving 80ish 17-18mpg
Last trip I made was 250 miles round trip with a highway @ 70 and back road @ 60 mix, I got 20 hand calculated (21 indicated)

It seems that for every 5mph I add to my speed I loose .5mpg

If I can drive 60 I get a little over 21

Im up to 566 miles on mine and so far I love it. I just pulled my 14k deckover to the mountains, with a few mowers, and got 14.2 mpg doing 70 mph. Was pretty happy with that.
