Your making 650 on a 38r, whaaaaatt:jammin:

You rock dude

I want to see the timeslips to back that up.

Obviously you haven't seen the dyno sheet from Bills R&D with a very similar setup a couple years ago that made 638hp with a 38R.

I haven't seen a slip on that one either.

live life full throttle

A good friend of mine went 12.6 and 104 on a 38r. And thats a full weight CCSB 4x4 2002 truck.

That might not be 650 hp, but its ~600.

I just want to make the power the 6.7's are putting out in 2014 and I would be happy. Where would I start, so far TS 6, 1.0 turbine from Beans, cold air intake, 4 inch diamond eye exhaust, WW2 turbo wheel, and EBPV delete along with pedestal delete.

get some 350/200s, 75mm turbo and start praying it holds. i can guarantee you it wont for any extended time period given it actually makes the power that setup can produce

Well. Nobody can perfect track times. Too many variables for the driver to make mistakes, wheel spin, etc. to lessen the true hp.

Missed light, late RT. Turbo Not spooled enough, having to let off cause ur truck may be all over the track....missed gear if ur driving a hand shaker.

Have you ever actually drag raced??? You should already know this if you have.

As opposed to..the non existent variables of dynoing??

Trap speed and truck weight pretty much determines horsepower. Eliminates, reaction time, gearing, traction, ET and the other variables as determinates for horsepower.

Just check out the horsepower calculators on this site.

Probably beating a dead horse but 800 hp on a budget? That really isn't possible with any truck model/motor

I'd say a CR Cummins is the closest. My brothers truck put down 833/1527 at spring fling dyno day. $900 injector nozzles, $450 head studs, $700 valve springs and push rods, $1350 dual Cp3 kit, $400 lbz cp3, $1100 turbo, $650 manifold, $500 smarty and if were counting the trans that was $6500, it could be done cheaper but that's what's needed to be reliable long term and so far its been great, we are actually otw back from a hog hunt it GA right now.

Miss a light? What does sleeping on the tree have to do with track times? Clock doesnt start til your car breaks the beams...it does NOT start when the green light drops. If you are missing gears, unable to predict where your car is going to go, spinning all over the place etc...you have no business on a track. My 60ft is always within a tenth of itself, my mph is always pretty much dead on as well. If you don't know when to feather, shift, let out to keep from popping a wall..you do not need to be on a track. A track will tell a far better story of what something makes for hp, I can make my truck have a 500whp dyno sheet, or my car make 1000...but I can't fake trap speed.

And how can nobody perfect track times? There's guys that run 9.40's all day long every weekend, at pretty much the same mph. Unless something happens, ic boot pops off, mechanical failures etc..but I have personally never seen anybody struggle to run halfway consistently unless they are learning a new combo. I.e. going from 300whp to 600whp for the first time.
