Got my Innovative custom tuned Livewire and am know reconsidering it. I know the livewire is ugly but as for tuning can I go wrong. Should I just get a H&S with canned or KEM tunes? I do not really want a Spartan. Just want to know can I really go wrong with what I have?

The tuning is top notch...Eric really knows his stuff, if you dont like the livewire buy a used DashDaq or one directly from DrewTech without the spartan tuning software on it for like 500 bux...best of both worlds

I think you will be just fine. Innovative writes good tunes and if all else fails you can get them to send you new tunes if you dont like the ones you have, the tunes are what matters so you'll be just fine IMO.

Everything should still be supported with tuning even when SCT quits making the off road tuners correct? Anyone ran an H&S against Eric's Livewire?

Can I run truck with Eric's tunes with the dpf on until I get my exhaust? Just go into regen a lot more?

I ran extreme mild for a short time with the dpf on, never really got on it and it still didnt seem to run right. The dpf really messes with these trucks

:whs: That's my plan-a DashDaq for monitoring and the Livewire for tuning. You've already spent the money on the Livewire, why sell it and start over when you can add something like the DD? I don't know the cost on other tuners but I'm betting you'd be even just adding the DD or gauges vs. selling the Livewire and starting over. Plus Rudy's (?) is doing really nice in dash mounts for the DD, there was a thread here about it somewhere-don't know where it went though.

Excellent choice on the programming. I wanted an x3with innovative tunes because of the luck I had on my 6.0's, but the x3 just doesn't seem to be as reliable. I run the livewire like you, but it sits behind my back seat unless programming. You simply can't go wrong with the edge insight cts for monitoring. I plan on getting another for the 6.4 right away. There's ton's of usable features. It turns on and off with the key, and is super easy to read/use. That's my plan fwiw.

The only thing wrong with the cts is the lack of monitoring capabilites through the OBD port

I guess I missed something, but I guess SCT is no longer sending out offroad tuners? Is eric going to start reflashing non offroad tuners or should I grab another livewire while there still out there?

I recommend the H&S with the KEM IMO...

Has there been any talk of what will replace the sct for custom tuners? It would be just my luck to grab a livewire then the next new better then ever something or other come out...
