I love this build! The craftsmanship is dead sexy. I'm always amazed at how much talent is out there. You guys are going to have a lot of fun with that truck. Can't wait to see it operate when it's finished!

I'm also partial to the Harley editions... the fact that this is taking place on a Harley Davidson SuperDuty makes it that much sweeter to me... especially since you've got the last year they made them.

Yes sir! I would have done this build last winter on my black 08 ccsb lariat, but i just wasnt happy that I originally settled for the tan interior, and knew I wouldnt be happy with the build if it wasnt black/black or the harley edition. I flew from upstate ny to nogales arizona to buy this truck last march

A little progress today. Most of the charge piping still needs final welding. 50mm gate to bypass the large charger needs to be fabbed. Not sure if it will even be needed but itll be there just in case. Still deciding on how to support the large turbo. Also decided today the factory power steering fluid reservior and degas bottle will be removed and replaced with a stainless set up where the driver side battery was. The stock modified hot charge pipe was cut in half, a v band was welded about half way up on the stock, and the top half will be custom.

Always nice to see someone do something with the power steering fluid reservoir and degas bottle.

I wanted to do the same with mine, Mike and I discussed a few things but we never really put much effort into it.

Dont you want some sort of bellows on your high pressure exhaust to the low pressure, if you support the lp off the frame and not the engine... And are you supporting the uppipes in anyway?

Im not sure what you mean? No need for a bellow on the hot pipe that goes between the turbos. I believe the low pressure turbo is going to have some sort of bracing originating from extended manifold bolts, but im not positive. Also unsure what you mean about up pipes being supported? Never heard of them needing to be? They arent weight bearing, the small turbo is mounted on top of the engine, no weight on the up pipes.

Ok was meaning if you were supportig the lp from the frame wouudnt yu want a bellows.

And the I ment the other two wastegate pipes going to the hp exhaust pipe, they will have some flex with there length..
Sorry for the confusions

Haha no problem. No i dont think the atmosphere is going to be supported but the frame. As far as the waste gate plumbing, everything seems to be pretty solid, i dont think there will be any issues

Build is really looking sick!! His fab skills are awesome and I like that you all are going about it in a different way. When is your goal date for it to be done?

I got the truck end of March of last year. He said we would be rolling around making 900+ for the 1 year anniversary. Haha Im not sure though, Ive told him plenty of times that Im not really too worried about it with the poor weather and salty/slushy roads. There is still a ton to do. The head stud install with valve springs, coolant tank, compressor housings are being powdercoated a chrome/silver color, all piping polished, exhaust piping wrapped, need to order turbo blankets, nozzles installed, lift pump system installed, I have 4 gauges that need their housing fabbed up then sent to the apholstery guy down the street to get covered with something to match the dash texture. Who knows what else lol. Right now the only thing I def. Plan on attending is TS so itll be done well before that

Awesome, can't wait to see it done. Maybe we can roll down that track together at TS. I think Corb's truck should be done also so I should be the slowest Harley truck there. LOL
