Thanks. Just gotta get a ported intake manifold, torque converter, mishimoto radiator and some sort of oil filter relocation kit. All this is gonna get done in the spring. Just getting this when I can.
Does the MPD up pipes have a stock collector at the turbo or is any sort of machining done to smooth airflow? Just wondering does it flow better than stock?
The MPD pipes are just a new set of stock up pipes that MPD uses to install the HD bellows/ flex joints. The collector is untouched. I might try to do something with that tho idk yet.
I'm gettin a 6.0 within the next two weeks and lookin at this turbo as well. I've heard many good things about MTW. I'm gonna be runnin it with 190/100 injectors. Is it smokey? Heard a lot sayin it cleans up nicely, just wondering from you first hand
When I ran the Stage 3 on my truck, it cleaned up my '190/100s' to faint haze and EGTs peaked at 1470F on Eric's Xtreme X. This was at 44 psi of boost.

Had some time to wrap the MPD up pipes and the RCD egr delete pipe. Just wanna spray the wrap with this stuff http://www.summitracing.com/parts/the-12002/overview/ and add some stainless locking ties. Next thing to get will be either the ported intake manifold or RCD's converter once I save up...hopefully in a month or two.
Gonna be replacing the oil cooler in the spring. Figured might as well while the intake manifold is off. Took the oil cooler cover assemblies off of my spare engine and cleaned them up. I thought about painting them....what do you guys think...natural look or painted? Thought about painting the bottom assembly IH red and the top one bright silver.
