OUO's?! Dude, quit copying me brah! Lol

I try to stick with a brand where everything was meant for each other and tested together is the reason I had CARLI arms. Either or should work though.

Hahah figure we can share a lot of things lmao.

Not sure what brand yet lol

If there is anything OUO, and I mean anything... Ala's, lift kits, string stabilizers... We have the full OUO Arsenal on hand. Not to mention we put together anything from leveling packages, 4" lifts, full on 12" coil over kits and everything in between!!

Sorry, in your message you left your phone number to call you at. I don't work on weekends, especially this being a holiday weekend I have been spending it with my family. I figured it would be acceptable to call you today on Monday when I'm at the office and can help you.

Update: Talked to Morgan about compounds, but maybe a 6670R is more what I'm going to go with. I'm not looking for insane power, but rather spool. I may only put 700hp down but I want it at rod bending rpm's lol. My plan for this truck is to try and keep up with my girlfriends Raptor *2017 or later if they release the 5.0 TT* and carry all the gear for 2-3 day desert bombing camping trips.

Morgan will be doing all the work, but basically it'll be Dual Fuelers, Midwest fully built engine, Midwest trans, Injectors, Intercooler, and a 6670R.

As far as suspension, I'd like to see just how far I can push the 2.5 Dominator setup from Carli, along with either PMF or OUO traction bars and ALA's up front. I know a 4" Dominator and 37's is ideal in this setting, but I'm just not convinced I need it. We'll see, all depends on how good the new Raptor will be with the 3.0 Fox's!

Lighting will probably be a 42" Rigid in the lower grille although a windshield bar isn't out of the question, I just can't stand the look of most light bars over the roof/windshield area, but the lighting height is more desirable.

Now we come to the hot debate of bumpers. I'm not a fan of adding more weight up front, yet I cannot STAND the rolled tube baja style bumpers. On the other hand, an Iron Cross style is out of the question. So any input on that would be helpful. Rear bumper will be replaced also just so I can slam more LED floods in the rear.

Also I ended up welding a steel pipe to the exhaust just downstream of the downpipe coupler, for my CCV reroute. The hose provided by No Limit's reroute was the perfect length! Smoke is still the same, but at least now I don't have to worry about the setup I had before, coming apart as it was just threaded pipe, lol!

And I know, I know, no pics, no care, so for Jcain I included a picture from Halloween. Any Batman fans?

Nice job on that CCV reroute, and your write up in general. Regarding your bumper question those Unlimited Engineering bumpers are super slick! Fits like OEM and not like every other bumper out there. Plus it'll accept a full sized winch and the bumper only sticks out 1" more than stock. You might have seen em but if not I think they're worth a look.

FWIW I'm building a "desert bomber" right now and love that phrase.

Yeah I've seen super armors, sadly they're way too heavy for what I do. All that weight up front seriously hurts you in the whoops, bound to smile an axle!

Love to see the write up on your Desert Bomber! Glad you liked the write up, I'm probably doing another soon for a coalescing filter to get rid of the blowby vapor, stay tuned!

Yes sir, copy that, I didn't know your goals/driving style plans when I recommended that bumper. I like the Mercenary Off-road bumper but want more coverage than just that bumper alone. It'll still probably be the one I get if I don't just do a hidden winch. Lol, it'll be later on before I gotta decide on that anyway.

Thanks, I'll start a thread and document the journey. Everything will hopefully be arriving by the end of the week.

I'm curious what you come up with on your CCV filter. I've been thinking about it too and am waiting till stuff comes in and see what I'm dealing with. I'm wondering if something mechanically simple like this is gonna work. An inline replaceable 60 micron filter that could be swaged onto a tube?

Noooooooooo, you need a pretty good sized coalescing filter to condense the oil vapor, since there is soooooo much volume. Another PSA member *Jomax* found an industrial filter from Parker/Raycor that might do the trick, only problem is size and where to put it!

Lol, okay, what kinda flow are we talking about? I was obviously underestimating it. Any idea about what the scfm # is. I'm fortunate to be in the industrial construction field doing controls commissioning and start-up for new power plants and stuff. With that being said there's no way I'd go Parker over Swagelok. Lmao, that's like comparing Ford and Chevy!

Sorry for no reply, never got updated! I'm not sure on the scfm, but look at the stock CCV box, that should give you an idea of the size of filter you'll need to build.

On another note I just ordered a fuel filter conversion from Dallas @ H&S, and their CCV box mod. I'm going to try and see if I can make it work with Morgan's piping kit. Still going to route it the same way, to my down pipe. I will make a vid of before and after vapor density. Still another 4K miles to go until I change the oil and get a sample to see how the current CCV mod is affecting the oil if at all.

Sorry for slow updates, the VA has been using me as a pin cushion to try and trace down why I have partial numbness in my left hand/arm.

This isn't truck related but i had the same problem. Went to a good chiropractor and he found and fixed my issue, a pinched nerve in my shoulder.
