Kinda figured that. What day are you going to be there? I'd like to check it out. We have some trucks running both days but won't be there until later Saturday morning.

I'll be there Saturday for sure. Not sure about Sunday.

It is running although I have a hellacious noise which sounds to be coming from the bell housing. Converter bolts are tight. You cannot hear anything when just jumping the starter. It honestly sounds like a bad rod knock but it def sounds like its way down in the trans. Its like the converter is hitting the housing or something. Real consistent and loud. Engine seems to run real smooth from what I can tell as well. Any guesses? Best description would be someone taking a metal pipe and dragging it down a fence row. Like rod knock. Lol. I really hope not

Leave one converter bolt loose and backed out hitting the webbing on the motor plate?

Maybe something loose rolling around inside the bell housing like a socket?

Hopefully it's something simple.

flex plate bolts loose? loud thud/solid hitting type sound or marbles being dropped into a coffee can with that tinny/raspy thud to it?

Its possible that a converter bolt is loose but I was pretty sure they were all tight and thought I double checked them all but I was spinning the motor over via the starter and not the crank like normal so its possible one got skipped. Im gonna go with marbles. My buddy was recording with his phone so I hope it was actual video and not for snap chat. See if I can't get it on YouTube.

Or even marbles being spun around in a coffee can? Usually those types of sounds are from flexplate being broke, or loose bolts on flexplate or converter... Or even a spare socket or part sitting in the bell housing. I hope that is all it is anyway!
