sure a 71mm wheel will flow. absolutely. theyre great as long as the skinny pedal is on the floor. as for crusing, theyre not that great. if you dont care about real driveability? then go with a 71.

my point was if your not going all out, then why go so big on the turbine wheel? a 68 will flow fine. driveability will be much better.

are you sure? have you driven a truck with one?

i have. lights at 15-16xx and has no problem on the street. little to no smoke if anything just a light haze until your OVER half throttle

cruising was fine, highway between 7xx-8xx and didnt climb over 1xxx when passing someone at 80.

the skinny pedal was not on the floor.

the trucks ive driven with 71mm wheels really didnt start spooling till 1800-2000.

im not talking about 1-2 pounds of boost either. im talking when the turbo is easily manipulated

running 205/100 it had 2-4 psi at 1600 and went up from there.

everyone has different opinions, i think the 64/71 is plenty driveable, so all im looking for is to see how much longer a 66 will take

I had a 66/71/83 in my compound set up originally but also hadnt tracked down all the boost leaks yet. it spooled like crap! Mike with hostile diesel has a 66/71/70 and it lights very well, maybe he can give some info

I loved that setup thats what i'm running now until the compounds are finished. It spools crazy fast, EGTs stay in check, their isn't really a dead spot around 55 that a lot of people have either the turbo will stay spooled.

My 64/71/70 is absolutly streetable...not that laggy. Builds 2-4lbs of boost 1600-1700rpms. I wouldn't hesitate to tow with this turbo at all.
