I think it looks good but would look better in a diamond pattern like everyone else has said. I dont mind the studs at all on the grill. Would look good if you had them on the wheels to match is what I think. There is a truck running around here in town (Nick Barnett former Green Bay Packer) with the grill like that and studs on the lug nuts and it looks really nice.

So are you 100% not liking the spikes ?

i think that spikes just on the grill are kind of gay. makes me think its some young kid trying to be cool and/or different. we all know at least one of those kids.

bigrig kind of swayed me opinion. like bigrig said, around the wheels, or other places. dont just stop at the grill.

i think the spikes would look ok on there, if you carried the spikes around the truck. BUT, also found a way to tie them into the theme of the truck.

will be kind of tough to tie in spikes, to a navy seal theme though.

though, instead of spikes, have them rounded like a actual bullet. i can see ammunition as part of a military theme. you could incorporate "bullet holes", around those "rounded spikes".

just throwing out ideas.

LOL! Yes, it does hurt. I forgot the spiked were there once as I was on a phone call witha customer overseas, and I leaned back on it full force, and I regretted every moment of the 40+ spikes that poked me.

i got to thinking.

if you take a 10 or 20 round clip, from like a ar or something, and seperate the sides, you could put them on the door handles.

like people do with the chrome handles, only yours would look like clips.

every time you get in, you would get to grab the clip and go. :D

HMMMMMMMM now you got me thinking sir.... We have an idea that involved AR shells for the sidevents, this may work really nice.

Ok its been a little bit since we actually have had time to wrench on the truck, but we were able to throw on the intercooler.
The shop was packed with cars so I had to do it in the parking lot. From start to finish, with taking photos, took less than 15 minutes!

The only thing different about the Spearco is that it comes with two adjustable brackets on the lower side where the two factory "pins" slide into the hole. Drop in the brackets before you try to install the intercooler if you guys try to do this one. I initially assembled the thing on the intercooler first and it just wont go in.

I am absolutely impressed by the fit and finish of the intercooler! I can almost say it was easier to install than the tuner lol

Hey Guys so a few nights ago I threw a P2563 Code. "turbocharger boost control position sensor circuit range/performance"

At idle my ebp is reading aroun 4psi. usually is gradually around double what the turbo is boosting.

I tried erasing the dtc with the H&S tuner, and it's coming back just about every 7-10 miles regularly now.

Tried checking the the turbo vein solenoid. It cycles when you turn ignition on, and cannot be moveed by hand when the truck is running. Moves freely when the truck is completely off.

Any answers please help me out, its really irritating!

ALSO when the CEL turns on the truck starts skyrocketing the EGTs and wont boost more than 18psi
