So the 64 Gallon Titan Fuel tank came in. And we dropped her in. Wasn't as simple as I had wished for it to be but sometimes a challenge is nice.

For instance the way the titan tank is designed, there's a little bump on the bottom towards the end where the sending unit/fuel pickup tube is. We'll they made it so darn close that the fuel sending unit touches the little hump. So we had to modify the sending unit. The other problem we had was the fuel lines were a P.I.T.A to get back on, so the top of the sending unit where the fuel lines attach had to be bent properly so the lines would click in without getting pinched or bent.
And the last issue we had was the straps that hold the darn thing in. Just not as strong or as "TITAN" as we'd hope. We had to weld in some material to add support.

But once all that was completed, the worst part was filler the fuchting tank. @ $3.89/gal we filled $249.54

So we tore the entire interior apart again! lol! we decided to do the headliner and sun visors in a matching black leather. and Also the Oh-**** handles in black leather, with a thick leather baseball glove like stitch!

And the interior's not gonna go back in until the truck is about 90% done, cuz we still have to get the roof rack on and wire everything up, and then re-tear it off and do the wrap.

Like we said earlier the interior is ripped out again! Hopefully I can get some pics of the process. We've been so packed on the upholstery side that I dont even know when we're gonna get finished with out headliner!

We test fitted the rear bumper looks like its gonna be alright we still have to add the D-Ring mounts on both the front and rear bumpers to make them right. Wish Ranchhand would of thought of that one from the get go.

And this is the front being test fitted

And the D-Ring mounts are welded in both front and rear. Not the best looking welds but I cant say I did terrible. So now we have to send these bad boys over to PHIL @ O.C. Rhino to get them covered up.

There are lots of benefits over wrapping a truck vs painting. especially when its a matte color I'll be posting a thread specifically on that in the next few days to show exactly why. But as a sum up, matte paint is very very very very difficult to match if one panel gets F*D up. This truck isnt just gonna be a show queen, it'll be used.... A LOT. So realistically it will get banged up, and changing a panel of film will take a few hours instead of a few days for paint, and it costs A LOT less!

So right now she's naked... 100% stripped down, gettting ready to clay bar the entire body for the main wrap to proceed. I painted the front grille to match just cause I was painting some customer headlights in the Oxford White, kinda like it better this way anyhow lol.
