Totally understand. Superblazin(james) is running a MTW stage 4 and 205/100's. If you are at all interested in knowing how it runs...i would PM him. But the MTW vgt's aren't like no other vgt's out there...nor are his large VGT's. http://powerstrokearmy.com/forums/showthread.php?t=31322

I bet james' truck runs circles around yours Greg.

how do you figure that? most he's made so far is 575 on fuel right? Greg's setup should be right around the same neighborhood (560-625 ish?) and we've seen his driving/spool vids and it's a couple hundred rpms off a vgt at the most.

either way, i don't think there is a "wrong" answer...just depends on where you want to spend the dough. i had a big vgt and loved it. just got tired of the whistle and wanted something different. haven't looked back.

If you want an absolutely KILLER street truck, tow crazy, and race 1/8 mile...

Ain't nothing ever gonna come close to the instant.....and I mean before you even think of touching the pedal....response of a supercharged/turbo setup.

I have never had the setup, but have spoken to those who have.

And unless your using a gauge that reads 5 psi at zero....only way to get 5 psi at an idle is with a Procharger/turbo setup.

I'd do it...but I'm way too deep into the twins.

Also the setup on the tow truck with the stock turbo and the S472 is still getting dialed in so keep a lookout on that one too

I'm with Mike on the 366. Ran it for a little while until I went to a 472. 66 spools faster than you will believe and is definitely the easiest on the wallet out of your 3 choices above. And like I said before say you go with an MPD 66 setup you can always make it into a compound setup later down the road when you want more, because you know you'll eventually want more LOL

and i dont even think that was a good dyno reading Lance. Heck Briar made 648hp with his stage 3 and 190/100's. So the stage 4 and 205's should make north of 650 no prob.

Lol.... not really. I'd love to see your truck put up against superblazin's(james) to see which one DD drives better and towes better....with both trucks runnin 205/100. I bet james' truck runs circles around yours Greg.

Damn that dudes lack of grammar and nonsense really has some people brainwashed!

I can tow with my setup no problem, did a month ago when I moved, towing an enclosed trailer. Anne Frankly I didnt build my truck to tow. I daily drive my truck in the streets of Boston, all over the northeast, NYC and never see any smoke unless I make it, builds boost just as fast as any video i've seen or heard of a mtw charger doing.

You can think all you want, I'd have no problem matching my truck up against one of these god  driven mtw trucks. Shoot, about to buy one to shut people up :blah:

BTW I walk my brothers built trans, moonshined tuned, stock fuel/airdog with the same charger setup duramax.

Not that it is really a great comparison to a MTW turbo, BUT my truck with a hurt 66 and fueling issues walked all over a ecsb (mine is ccsb) truck with a swamps 68mm pmax and swamps 205/100's. And my truck is not even close to fueling as hard as it should be. 366 FTW
