What your trans is doing isn't good. Your cts should be able to tell you what gear it's in. If it's flaring like that on the 3-5 shift that's no bueno.

Well I'll be derned! I have no clue how these transmissions work. So the lagging could be because of a sluggish shift?

I need to light a fire under my azz and fix all this chit on my truck…lol. I'll start once I get my DD solenoid…I swear :lookaround:

The cts isn't gonna pop up with a big red "flare" but it will show you that you've gone from 3-5 and skipped 4 like it's supposed to.

I figured as much, but I've never seen it go 3rd-5th. And like I said, it doesn't happen every time, usually it happens when I'm watching traffic to make sure no one hops in my lane or something similar

The CTS reads 1-5 so it won't tell you anything... 4 on the cts is actually 5.

DD solenoid in. I THINK read that I'd need to adjust shift pressure after installing the solenoid, is this true? And what should I adjust it to?
