S400 and S500 compound set up?

king kong made more power with the 66/88 than it did the 75/106, the 88 spools instantly. The s500 made a ton of boost but all it did was creat a load of boost and break stuff.



That's why things are proven and done frequently, because they work.

I never said it worked better... OP asked if anyone has done an S400/S500 compound setup

Was the 75/106 running a single gate or 2? It spooled a lot faster than I expected.

It's comparing apples to oranges because of the different injection systems but mpd just built a 6.4 just shy of 1000 on fuel with that turbo setup

That setup made 970 on 95lbs of boost and saw 140ish at the track. So I would say it made alot more power. But the trans could not hold it

Ive run a s366 s595. S371 billet s595. No difference. And a s471 s595. Thats my favorite setup.

so with the s595 as a the LP basically u saw no change what so ever when staying in the 300 series charger un till u bumped it up to a 400

I had a s595 on the ranger to start out. It flowed air that's for sure. But me and Matt decided it was to much air for what I needed.

yeah I'm sure it made more power to the ground cuz it wasn't breaking trans stuff all the time, but if the trans was able to hold all that I'm sure that statement would be different, i know an 66/88 set up is proven but kinda wana try something out of the norm from every other built 6liter out there u know

Use some Garrett turbos. That would be different lol

Just out of curiosity how much boost were you seeing from each stage?
