Single shot injection?

Bump this back up.. anybody ever fine tune single shot injection at idle etc?

Cooler coolant,egts and better mpg etc seem like a good deal just gotta deal with the increased CP.

Bringing back a dead thread lol. I've hear many times that removing pilot injection at higher rpms and load works well, but I've never heard why. Like if pilot injection helps efficiency why would you ever want to turn it off?
