drag/sled pull tunes will have lots of injector duration and ICP (commanded) in the tune...

you're going to get the hanging rpm when free revving with that size injector nozzle, in that kind of tune, with a Gen3.

If you want to free rev it, let me know and I'll write a different tune...

rpm=oil volume...

if the injectors aren't using the oil from the pump(s)...from very short injector duration, then pressure will be high causing the rpm to hang until the IPR can bypass enough volume of HPOil to lower the ICP pressure and regain base idle rpm/ICP values.

the more aggressive the tune, the more it'll want to hang rpm on a free rev.

drive it, or email me for a 'free rev' tune...with minimum ICP commanded and minimal inj PW.

Prefect. Thank you for the clarification. I don't need a free rev tune. I was just doing it to see if it ran on all 8. I'm not that guy haha. Thanks Dave, appreciate the help

Well, there isn't a cut and dry answer there. Its tuning related and youre trying to dump massive amounts of rotella across small orifices. So thats still a possibility. But id expect better tuning resolution with lower icp. As in being able to more finely control "the dump" in more civilized tuning. But with high icp and longer pw, she gonna growl when ys tickle 'er skinny pedal.

Its hard for me to fathom how much oil that setup moves. Think about that for a minute.

Almost had truck road worthy to go to Numidia. But I'm on way back to test drive some more. I blew a boot off on economy tune (loose clamp). No headlight in it. I'm goin home to put some miles on it today before night fall and tomorrow. As of right now, thing is an animal. Boost launches and burnout videos to come
