Iirc any tuner that does on the fly is basically just fooling the ecu via engine sensors to make it fuel, advance timing etc.. While it may be possible to live tune in realtime with canned tunes. I don't think any of the known brands of tuners actually do it

Hypertext mach 7 does and will not communicate to the TCM. Well that's what a tech named Ron at hypertec told me. I'm going to talk to bill at PHP about it sense he seems to be the man that would know how there accually doing it so I'll know how unsafe it is timing wise.

unfortunately currently theres no on the fly tuners for a 6.0 that are capable of working with your fueling setup.

The Juice/CTS isnt a tuner. Its an ICP fooler and the regular CTS doesnt allow for on the fly tuning

Yup. Your looking for something to control ECM tuning while leaving TCM tuning to your SCT.

Unfortunately theres nothing out there thats custom tunable for the ECM that allows for shift on the fly.

No what Im saying is the Mach 7 is designed around stock trucks.

And based on what Im seeing is that its just a fancy ICP fooler like the Edge Juice

right i understand that. can you explain why i need custom tuning with aftermarket injectors, when i run tunes that arint talored for 205's and had both of the guys that write my tunes tell me that it will not do any harm, that it will only idle weird MAYBE, and if you've heard 205's idle you know thats not an issue.

As to why? It will idle funny, Wont fuel properly, the drivability will suck and it will be smokey as chit.

please give an educated answer as in CP's will be too high bc of the pluse width the canned tunes produce, or by fooling the icp yull be overworking your HPOP with the size injectors you have, ect......

on a stock truck that your trying to get the most fuel and power out of with out trashing your tranny and injectors, i would say SCT all the way!!! BUT thats not what im trying to do, hence the earlier post to the other guys that didnt understand my reasoning for this thread. i am by no means trying to full fuel my injectors! if i was racing it for a living and counted on the fastest times with the set up i have then NO WAY WOULD I STACK ANYTHING!

I know this is on a 7.3 but my 6 pos chip very rarely gets moved from the street performance tune. Even towing. Only about 3 tenths slower at the strip even. I would agree on the find a good drivable tune with good power and only change it if you really wanna play for a few days.

Sent from my x2 somewhere

the main thing im trying to get away from is always retuning the tranny every time i want a different power level. if the sct had a choice of tuning the engine, tuning the tranny, or both at the same time like it does i would not even thought of doing this. i HATE haveing to force a relearn a couple of days before i want to pull my boat on a fishing trip, or go to the track, ect..

i find my self changing tunes now a lot after my new mods(not that im complaning about my mods this bitch rips) like if my wife takes my truck i have to retune it bc it has too much power for her the way i drive it and she likes to go fast like me...... i have a hard time controlling it even on a street tune, id hate to she her reaction LOL.
