Honestly let me get with Andy on that being that I've never had to use it. Last time I talked with him about warranty was 3 years ago and that's when he first started pushing his stuff. I will get back to you on that as soon as I talk with him

+1 on Andy's transmissions, best warranty, and built to last. I've been running mine for around a year, and it is pushed hard! The customer service is out of this world. Andy is a great guy, and really stands behind his work! If you're local to Andy, may as well go local and get one there. Trust me, you WILL NOT BE DISSAPOINTED!!!

Competition plus is 4800 and competition is 4000. difference being the billet intermediate in the comp plus. as long as you don't plan on going much larger than what you have the comp trans would be perfect for you. That includes a PI converter as well. Shipping shouldn't be to much on that but I would need your zip code to find out. We run Andy's transmissions in all of our 6.0s and I have yet to pull one because of a failure. These transmissions flat out work! I cant say much on twisted diesel transmissions as I haven't delt with one yet. I can however tell you that Andy's customer service is the best ive delt with and ive gotten the same feedback from a few of my out of state customers as well that cant make the drive to us.

What about core charges what can the competition hold up to? I probably won't go to much bigger than 190/100 but I'm still trying to figure out what turbo I want and eventually spray maybe that would be cool haha

The competition is meant to hold 600hp reliably. Only difference between the 2 is a billet intermediate shaft. Intermediates have been know to break in the ball park of 700hp or so but with that being said ive seen some that can hold more and some that hold less. Core charge is a 30 day no core charge policy. After that im not sure as I don't know anyone that hasn't returned the core.

Yes and the way he explained to me it was like a 30 day core charge. Send yours back when you install the new one.

You know, he's got a really good warranty... Actually, he will probably stand behind it for as long you have the truck... I am running this trans, and it runs great, never missed a beat...If you'd like to go with a Twisted trans, go for it by all means, you'll be paying shipping and so on....If you went Warren, he's local and will always help you out...theres been times where Ross and I were on the phone with him at 1am...Cant be beat.

Ok, sorry just trying to help him out with a proven transmission that we like to use. I don't understand why you keep bashing everyone, for somebody who doesn't actually work in the industry you sure know a lot :postwhore:. Thanks, hope this doesn't affect the post...Im out...
