Shaw, its a pretty slick setup. I can post more screen shots if you like.

One of the best things it does is add on sensors. I can tap into temp sensors like EOT ECT and trans temp. Just piggy back the factory or even an aftermarket guage.

As well as its dataloging capabilities.

Out of curiousity, If your in OD locked and you throttle up and cause a downshift, does the TC unlocked ? I had it turned off so it doesnt unlock on downshifts and Cale said its really hard on the trans, as its so much load on the trans.
The only thing is, is it basically downshifts, unlocks at the same time and relocks back up in 3rd.
I wish there was some sort of TC timer so I could have it stay unlocked for a few seconds. Would also be nice to have TC lockup with more then just MPH tables.

How many sensors can you add on?

I have mine set up at this time with it unlocking on a down shift with a .2 sec delay. I would have to scope it to verify it happening but I can feel a difference. It's much smoother when it down shifts, not so harsh.

Quite a few, I will double check after work and post some more screen shots.

I have a shift timer. But I'm not sure on TC timer.

There are 6 analog inputs. 1 is designated to the TPS though, here are a few.

Digital inputs, brake cancel TC. OD off, TC unlock etc..

Here is the monitor screen, tells you gear, TC lock/unlock, analog inputs. etc

Does the Minotuar kit come with a book that explains what all of the paramaters change or is it all trial and error?

With such an crazy amount of parameters it seems like it would be helpful and help to make buyers more comfortable.

Thanks for putting all of this out there too. It definitly gets me very interested in purchasing.

The definitions do include some descriptions of the maps and other things, but its nowhere near complete.

Shaw, can you toss up some of the shift pressure stuff for me? Things are getting pretty crazy for me.

Sure Dave

This is a PMT1 stock file

again sorry they are small, Im still not sure how to make them bigger like Dave's

This is the one that sets your pressures for the most part - I copied what Bill put on his forum about what they do - - - Thank you Bill !!!!

I then use this one to fine tune the pressure, you have them for all shifts but only posting 1-2

Then you have this one, I normally just set this one at 100 across the board. A lot of others use it to help wear and tear on the trans.

And this one will speed up your shifts, I normally put this one down lower in the 250 range

I think that's most of them for your pressure's and such

Anything else you guys want to see?

I've had mine for a few years, and all that comes with it (rather came with mine) was basically how to load the software, and even then I had to call Bill and get his help setting it up.

I'm sure Bill has big plans for an instruction manual but there are only so many hours in the day.
So right now, it's trial and error, and help from those like what's been posted here.

Here's an example of how I cleaned my truck up a bit.

This is the PW map I began with. I changed the scaling so you could see it better.

After a bit of driving and finding the main problem area's I changed it up a bit.

He is a comparison.

As you can see it really does not take much to get things under control. However, with larger nozzles things aren't nearly as drastic as they would be with a smaller nozzle.

I feel like I am looking at something incorrectly on the most recent graphs. I feel like the icp scale should be flipped completely. Like the high numbers to the left and the low numbers to the right.

The way im reading it mfd increases and pw increases but icp drops, which im sure it isnt.

Hard to explain without being face to face. If someone can explain what it is that im seeing incorrectly it would be appreciated. If this dosent make any sence then il keep reading and eventually il get it.

Thanks

MFD (bottom right) and RPM (bottom left) ICP (vertical)

Brought this one back up, not sure I follow what you mean.

Do you feel that way because it has more pw at lower icp and you think it should be the other way around?

Correct.

How can the mfd scale be zero right next to the max icp pressure?

I'm not good at explaining but Ill try. looking at Dave's PW map you basically start at an idle in the place I marked and as you give it fuel you would travel in that direction. So even tho the mfd is 0 and ICP is max on the 3d map your not really over in that area very much if ever.

I'm going to resurrect this thread for a bit. Just got minotaur and still getting wrapped around everything that is available. For those who are considering purchasing it, be prepared, there is a lot of stuff you can change and it can be a bit overwhelming. I want to give a shout out to dave for helping me on some stuff. However, I wanted to get the opinions of those who are tuning for themselves, what causes hard starts in the cold? Nothing has changed on my truck other than the tuning, and I'm having a bit harder starts when its cold out. Anyone have any ideas?
