Where did I go wrong?

When it idles smooth, I notice more power for a given throttle position and the EGTs are equal in both banks, but when running rough and towing, I've seen the odd bank range from up to 100* warmer while running, to 90* cooler at idle.

How did you observe this...several egt guages? Measured where? Which side is the hot/cold one?

Dual pyros in the manifolds. Under load, the odd bank can range from even to 150° hotter. At idle, especially cold start, the odd bank will run at just over 200° while the even bank is right at 300°. After driving while idling to cool the turbo, the odd bank usually reads 75° hotter.

That's what I don't get either. If a dual mass flywheel or a bad TC can screw up a CCT, then how can my truck shake this much and not show up with AE? 3&8 show between 1.5&2.5% in neutral. In drive, 3 drops a little and 6 comes up to 1.5ish%.

This may have no merit to your situation as I only have basically a tuned stock AA injector truck. Played with the ICP map a bit ago. I took it as low as 450 and engine just got quiter and a little more unstable but no shakes or romp. Idles smoothly @ 580 @ 180 EOT. Stays smooth up to about 700 by 800 it was stable but loud.

MFD is 10.4 mg, ICP is 490 @ 10.16% and steady. Oil temp was 180*
Those numbers sound good but some injectors have something sticking and won't fire properly until 550-600 in some cases. Your rotational velocities will show 4+ if that is the case on those cylinders.

My PIS injectors would not idle smooth in that 490-500 ICP range. Jody bumped mine up to 580 and my idle was rock solid from that point on. Idle was a touch louder but couldn't be more steady...just an FYI.

If its not proprietary, where would you set icp@idle on a truck with hybrids?

I did not own the truck then to know the details, but why would a tuner need to go to around 800psi@idle for 250/100s? If at 500 psi stock pcm levels, it will stumble around if you touch the throttle.

Just questions, but cool information... Ive always wanted to know this.

One would think that an injector can fire reliably at a stock ICP level unless there is something wrong with it.

Here's some screen shots I took from AE last night.

I ran a CCT and it passed while in park, but in drive, it failed #6. That's the first time I've see it do that. I'm gonna climb in there tonight and make sure I didn't pinch or roll an O-ring.
