What I mean by laggy is that the centrifugal blower by nature increases cfm with rpm, (I know there's a few different step up ratios between manufactures but they're relatively close). The last time I was on a dyno I wasn't making nearly anything until around 3200-3500rpm. I'm not bashing the...
This is a cool project but I'm curious how the blower is helping off idle power? I'm running a ysi on a 4.6 gas engine and Its the laggiest power adder I've ever run. I've had an si trim and a novi 2200 before the ysi and they were better but not by much.
I'm going to be taking off the topper soon. I'm looking for a headache/ladder rack that will work with a tonneau cover. The tonneau cover will probably be a soft roll up deal. What do you guy have? Trying to stay below 1k.
Did you have a Harley Davidson 6.0 on MT classic 2s? There's a picture out there of a cclb Harley with a gooseneck trailer on those rims I've been trying to find for years.
The worst part of he hole deal was the TWO rims I had to buy. The first one was shipped and had a small crack. No time to have it fixed so I bought another one. 600$ in rims and 250ish for the tire. The town did send me a check for 100$. So that was cool...
I've put about 15k on a set. So far they have been wearing fine. They're not crazy loud but definitely not quiet. My truck weighs around 10k. Full of tools, under a topper all the time. I did have to replace 1 tire but it was due to smashing a pot hole at 50ish. . Even after the damage the tire...
Plugged it in for about an hour. Swapped in the new batteries. Fired up no problem after sitting for 5 weeks under 4' of snow and temps around 10 degrees today.
Update. Can't edit on my phone but after work I added the EOT pid on the scan gauge. Cruising around town temps were; around 170-175 ect and 175 -180ish EOT. The coolant didn't look as dark as before. On the highway after getting on it a few time I saw the ECT up to 175-178 and EOT 190-195. The...
Looks like its time for an oil cooler. I was doing fuel filters and an oil change last weekend and noticed the coolant level about a half inch below the MIN line on the degas bottle. It also had a dark color to it. Getting under the truck it looked like there was a leak as well. I haven't...
A few years ago I put a chambered flow master on my mustang to quiet it down a little bit. After a few pulls during tuning I cut it off and picked up 70 rear wheel HP. Turbo cars especially like to breathe. I would stick with something that flows straight through.
