Anything over a 6" tip on a 5" system should get a person bitch slapped for stupidity. LOL
this^^^
This. I think a 4-6 is starting to look like crap. 4-5 or 5-6...no problem.
i dont like the bell at the end of the exhaust. i prefer a 4in to 4in or 5in to 5in tip.

It was a nice truck otherwise. Black cclb leveled with the stock 20s and a nitto trail grap. Black mesh grill, painted fender vents, black ford emblems with dark grey lettering...only chrome was the bumpers and wheels...then that ***kin cantaloupe shooter!

I never even ran one of those on my eclipse back in the tuner days. Had a dual, blued outlet coming out the stock place

Well, I grew up in the pre turbo clatter fluid truck era where everyone had 2 1/4" exhaust with everything from 2 1/4" tips to 3 1/2" or 4" X 36" (or 24" I can't remember) echo chambers. I liked and had the 3 1/2", but thought the 4" looked like crap. So, I don't dislike the change in OD until it gets too stupid looking.

Lol me too. Had 12" glass packs and echo chambers on my 81 Chevy short bed. Was loud enough to set off the alarms in the stores on Main Street.

Yep, my 351 had 18"x3.5" chromies on it lol. Then that got old. I bucked the trend and put 2 into one and ran 3.5" out the back as a single. Sounded so much better..

same here on the gassers.. my 79 had 3 inch duals from headers back. no mufflers. mildly built 400m. ran like a raped ape.. loud as ***!!

99 f150 with 5.4 had true dual exhaust with 2.5 inch into 18"3.5 tips..

01 f150 5.4 was single exit 3.5".. no muffler or tip. superduty 7.3 stock exhaust..
