    Trying to quite it down a little

    Ever think of using a turn down tip instead of straight out the side? Big difference on the highway when I drove my ex boss's truck with the same exaust as mine....just different tip you actually hear the engine instead of the exaust at 2K on the highway.

    You should notice a major change just on the DD tune. I will say that my 80DD is still laggy compared to the 120 race program. Try reloading them on the chip and see if it's fixed....had the same problem with my brothers loading custom tunes.

    Word.....I wouldn't want a ZF6 for in town driving but they can darn sure take some abuse. If you want to "drag race" with em just don't use the clutch.....promise it can be done to perfection with enough experience.

    Just curious....if someone buys a BTS and something happens 3-5 years down the road will he let a local tranny shop do the repair with his supplied parts (for a somewhat minor repair) or does the whole thing have to be shipped to him? I'm almost 1k miles away from him so down time would kill me...

    Wicked Wheel2 and a combination of parts.

    Stock sticks is why there isn't much difference....not enough fuel so the extra air isn't getting you the full benefit compared to "stage 2" injectors.

    Please don't take any offence to my opinion but if my truck was a secondary vehicle I would say the same you just did. Since I (and some others) are confined to one truck then I would rather spend the extra couple hundred for the fun and reliability I want for a dd. I've already got the money...

    Just a fyi the WW2 does sound different than the stock one. Mostly just a little more whistle but a slightly different tone as well.

    Wish I had that kind of luck with stock trannys. The original in my truck went at 60k and got a Ford reman when my brother owned it. Now the reman has a whopping 43k miles on it and is starting to get sloppy on hard throttle shifts...still pulls a load and drives fine when the pedal isn't on the...

    This is the best sales pitch there is....honesty. If everyone who made hi po parts would post their failure rates it would really put some people at ease about buying from them. 9 out of 500 is pretty darn good in my book especially for a relatively new manufacturer.

    Differential Fluids

    Running the Mobil 75/140 LS in mine that already has the modifier in it. Seems to work the same as the factory fluid+modifier specs when it comes to pulling 2 tires.

    My 03' 7.3 just rolled over 103k miles and is starting to have a very slight idle problem when I get 2 miles down the road to the first stop light.     238/80's hazing at idle

    My brother's truck does the same thing on cold starts with Swamps 175/146 injectors. Brand new motor from the International dealer and a brand new 38R still smokes just like the old one till warmed up. Started with the Swamps tuning and it was pretty bad...now with PHP tuning the truck is moody...

    Putting on my waders now...s*** getting deep to say the least. FOS without a dyno sheet or track time slip. Might wanna see what a 1 year old 6.7 costs before you put a 40k+ price tag on a 7.3 thats over 10 years old regardless of mods. Try ebay for a quick sale....it works great for suckers...

    Customer service and price.....products will almost always outlast the warranty period...unless it's a 4R100 from the Ford dealer...lol. Tim I'm looking forward to trying some of your small hybrids soon if I can ever get away from work myself.

    First one in my truck only lasted to 60k but it had a hard life with the two previous owners which I know. The reman in it now only has 45k on it and sometimes it does some funny shifting. Without a chip these trannys are okay but when you start adding power and a heavy foot they don't seem to...

    Injector cup question

    This is the best advice in the whole thread right here. Every 7.3 out there is over 10 years old now and even with low miles you could run into problems. You would hate yourself when you get to the back cups if you had to change them with the motor in the truck.
