So it's not gonna clean up my 290's? LOL
It's gonna be pretty interesting to see how that works out.
.
Sure if you throw a second pmax on there LoL.

And not to pick a fight, but per Brian at BTS, he does NOT advise a mag hytech on his trans. Infact he tells you NOT to put one on.
That statement is not 100% accurate. What Brian says is he does not recommend the increased capacity pans if you do nothing with the cooling system. His claim is that once the fluid gets hot during a hard run the stock system takes too long for the temps to drop back to normal. If you add additional cooling capacity they work well according to Brian. I do not agree with his assessment of the stock system being inadequate on the 5r's as I think his opinion is based on the clearly inadequate 4r cooling system. My 5r has run consistently 10-20* cooler with a Mag pan even when I towed my 15k boat.
And to the original question it's not so much the HP as the transmission tune. I would bet a John Woods tuned trans would handle 550-600hp 2 times as long as some of those other "tuners" trans strategy would handle 450hp.
Who is jacking with the thread title? Wth. LOL
Danny must be bored
It's a 5R110, not a 5R100. oke:
.
190's are clearly more than fuel than a p-max can clean up. However it can be done with tuning. I'm assuming the tuners are pulling fuel out of the 190's to get a powermax to keep it clean though.
Thread title fixed again. LOL
