Look, All th eguys who have been busting our asses testing these things have been given a lot of crap and I'm sure Nate is just reacting to ALL the negativity. Nothing personal. I can tell you right now that if one more person PM's me asking me to "Get Adrian to Hook me up with a turbo", I'm gonna lose it. We're trying our best to provide all the info we can on a product that we truly believe in. This guy is making turbo's that out perform and cost less, we're beating the hell out of them to prove the quality. We don't have the cash or resources that a larger company would, but we're trying our best. Just gets a little overwhelming sometimes. Hell, I was so pissy Saturday after my truck refused to cooperate on the dyno I had to appologize to most everyone at our event for being such a dick. I wanted the 500rwhp mark and if I could've held boost, I believe I would've gotten it.
BTW, Bill's truck is up and running with 175's and the 4088. He just called me. He sounded like a kid at Christmas. Gonna have us some more dyno numbers tomorrow. As soon as I get them, I'll post them. He said the truck is running amazing.
Yep. Adrian is working on some bigger stuff as well. He would like to eventually break 600rwhp with 175/100's and one of his turbo's. Personally, 500 to the wheels is my goal. We think with the boost holding at 30-35psi it should be there. Then I'll throw in the water/meth and hopefully be at 535+. If I can achieve that, then I'm gonna see what JJ can do for a set of 155's or 175's depending on what turbo I end up with. I'd love to eventually put down a VERY CLEAN 550rwhp, fuel only.Understandable. Keep it up guys. Never hurts to have a little competition to keep the big dogs in check.
No one. There has been no special tuning required so far. Guys have just dropped the turbo in and went. I made the 485rwhp on a stock turbo/stock injector tune. I know that Vivian at Quick Tricks and Chris at TSD have shown interest in tuning them. Bill at PHP will be the first to actually live tune one since he has my 4088 on his truck right now. Literally, its on his dyno right now, so he'll have the best idea of how to write tunes for this turbo. Bill is actually the first guy to run these things on the dyno and datalog them too. He did my stage 2 and Chris's Stage 1.Who has bee the most successful at tuning these things with A/M injectors?

I'm still running tunes Chris and Vivian wrote for me when I had the stocker on. No dead spots, no more lag than stock (Stage 2 has about stock lag) and a ****load more power. Like I said, it was holding 30-35psi on the street, but when dyno day came around, the truck decided it wouldn't make more than 22-25psi at anything after 2400rpm. It would run up to its normal 30-35psi when Bill would get into it then promptly drop off to 22-25psi. I was pissed, but it still turned a 485rwhp pull, which isn't bad, I just think the 500rwhp pull is right around the corner.Well thats good news....I was pretty sure I read that the stage 1 didnt need updated tuning but I was not sure on the stage 2.
Hey you and 09stroker started it, I just felt I should jump in and have some fun too.LOLLOLLOLYou like the idea of that don't you? :naughty: You're sick Matt :slap: LOL LOL
fftopic :toast:
Glad you brought this up. I've been wondering about the intake manifold with this setup. I really believe it would be very beneficial. What I don't know is how much more HP I'd gain without injectors. I really feel like 500 is attainable with the stock injectors, intake manifold and the Stage 2 (4088) turbo. I just think that at that point, there will be little or no fuel left. Maybe I'm wrong though. I would like to have a GoGo or Apex manifold, I will just have to save up for a little while. Nothing for this truck goes on credit, I save up for every little upgrade. I also have a new baby boy due in August so the wife and I are saving for that as well. Eventually though, a manifold will find its way onto the truck. Got the money in hand for a water/meth system, but I can't get AIS to answer the damn phone. I talked to Rodney (owner) a couple weeks ago, then I got involved in all this craziness, now I can't get through to talk to him about the new setup and nozzles again. I need the water/meth to insure I can still tow with the new Hercules FICM tune. With some live tuning and a intake manifold they should be able to get over 500hp I would think, keep up the work, nice to see a single turbo that can move some air.
I've heard they're awesome, just gotta save the money you know. Those things aren't cheap and unlike Ellerton, I don't trust myself enough to build one.
Get a cooling mist kit and be done with it nicest quality you can get and they are in GA so you will get it ASAP
