I understand, but it's less of a concern for me. I like seeing what the curve and powerband look like and what to expect pulling a load down the road. Everything has its place and importance, which for me is low end power.

Here's the dyno sheet for you. This isn't the 485 run, we were playing around with different tune/FICM tune combos. This sheet shows the SPD/ Atlas 80, Looney Wild/ Atlas 80 and Looney Wild/ Hercules combo's. Gives you an idea about how this turbo reacts to different tunes.

You ever thought about running 1 of bills tunes? Along with his FICM tune?

Doesn't elite use duramax compressors for their upgraded VGT turbos? How is this different than theirs? Just curious.

You ever thought about running 1 of bills tunes? Along with his FICM tune?

Bill is gonna live tune my truck for me eventually. I was gonna get him to write me a tune to run with this turbo, but I was so damn frustrated with the truck I just forgot to ask. Bill also has a crapload going on this week to get ready for TS, so I'll get a tune from him after.

I dont know if those torque numbers are accurate or not but I sure like em LOL

That has to be either the FICM tuning or the dyno is just not right because I have never heard of nearly a 2:1 torque to hp ratio.

Lol Yeah I know, I talked with him last night after he got his injectors in. Just curious if you were gonna try his tuning

Yes Sir, having Bill tune my truck has been the plan since I strapped this turbo on. He's got several datalogs of dyno runs in my truck already, so he could probably write a wicked tune from that info.

Next, Elite uses a different turbine wheel (10 blade as opposed MAD's 13 blade) as well as a different size too. As far as I know, Elite does not use dmax turbos for their powerstroke turbos. I have no idea where you would have gotten this from.

Now once the "Stage 3" comes out, it will have a larger turbine wheel than Elite's "Powermax-HO".

I'll let MadPowerstroke give specs if he wants to.

That's cool, I think my truck has spent more time strapped to his dyno than it has been in my driveway in the past few months lol... I'm sure once he tunes yours, you will be a very happy guy

It has a lot to do with the FICM tuning. When you come down for the Morgan event have Bill tune your Ficm on the dyno. We'll do 1 run for a base and then tune the FICM for the last 2 runs.

Look, All th eguys who have been busting our asses testing these things have been given a lot of crap and I'm sure Nate is just reacting to ALL the negativity. Nothing personal. I can tell you right now that if one more person PM's me asking me to "Get Adrian to Hook me up with a turbo", I'm gonna lose it. We're trying our best to provide all the info we can on a product that we truly believe in. This guy is making turbo's that out perform and cost less, we're beating the hell out of them to prove the quality. We don't have the cash or resources that a larger company would, but we're trying our best. Just gets a little overwhelming sometimes. Hell, I was so pissy Saturday after my truck refused to cooperate on the dyno I had to appologize to most everyone at our event for being such a dick. I wanted the 500rwhp mark and if I could've held boost, I believe I would've gotten it.


BTW, Bill's truck is up and running with 175's and the 4088. He just called me. He sounded like a kid at Christmas. Gonna have us some more dyno numbers tomorrow. As soon as I get them, I'll post them. He said the truck is running amazing.
