No, thats not the whole story, leaving them open can cause a problem too. Like i said its not just cutting a plunger down and adding a shim under the spool and plugging a port.

Nobody should buy injectors from anybody that are not flowed on a bench prior to shipment. That's a recipe for disaster that to many backyardigan "shops" are serving their customers. May cost you less going that route up front but it WILL cost you more in the long run.

.

I agree with this 100%. Never buy injectors without them being flowed first. My Renegade injectors were flowed before he sent them to me, actually they were put on the flow bench before and after. That is how I found out the "flow tested" 190s that I got from another injector builder were really 155s...

So is flow testing just as much of a crap shoot?? I bet we would be best off if we bought injectors that were built and flowed by company A, then send them to company B for double checking, and then if off, send them to company C for a third opinion. LOL LOL LOL

^THIS, this is why I had a third party(my dad) flow them.. That way I could see if they were done properly.... And if they were not done properly I could go back to the company and have them make the repairs- sending them proof/documentation that they were not built to specs.... Ive had BRAND NEW full force Casserly injectors not done properly.. Had 8 of them flowed and saw for myself 4 were 135cc and the other 4 flowed 175cc.... Now you tell me.... This is why I went 3rd party in flow testing my new injectors...

You mind giving me your name so I can check our records and flow sheets? Thats a pretty, pretty bold claim you've made there. I find it extremely hard to believe that I wouldn't have heard about this by now. For the amount of money those injectors cost, I wouldn't imagine not calling our company about it. Would really like to know some more info on this. I'll be awaiting for your reply or you can call me at the shop anytime. 615-962-8291

If I gave 3-4 grand for a set and flowed them myself or had a 3rd party flow them, and half of them flowed stock volume you'd definitely hear from me Lol

Not saying he isn't being truthful, just my 2 cents

Shawn built my 275 sticks, and they have proven themselves well. My cass 190/75s ran awesome too, and my track time of 13.35 at #8100 with a powermax backed up my dyno numbers, and my dyno numbers reflected the gains from a 190/75. Cass also makes sure all of the intensifier pistons, plungers, etc. go back in their respective bodies.
