3.2v is about 2600psi

Had this saved from when I saw it awhile back:

1.0volt@580psi, 3.22volts@2520psi

(PSI) (MPA) Voltage
0 0 .02v
200 1.5 .4v
400 3 0.73v
600 4 .96v
800 5.5 1.2v
1000 7 1.4v
1200 8 1.6v

2000 13.8 2.6v
2200 15.2 2.8v
2400 16.5 3v
2600 18 3.3v
2800 19.3 3.5v
3000 20.6 3.8v

You can follow the trend to 4000psi.

Going back to the dyno tomorrow with a better nitrous setup. Also talked to dieselsite about an adrenaline pump...

lol i was at chick-fil-a when you ran

Oh. It was nothing exciting. Just over 600. I'm gonna spray it tomorrow with a little spray setup we pieced together until I buy a legit solenoid and stuff... Hopefully it does over 700. I really need that dieselsite pump though. I think it will make BIG power with hpo

That would be awesome. Get a video!!! Is one pump is gonna be enough for those injectors? even if its a bigger pump

After talking with diesel site, I was told these pumps are for big injectors, pretty excited about them. Josh this should do the trick to keep those injectors fed!

The next issue after adding a second, or bigger hpop, is maintaining low oil pressure to the rest of the engine.
I have mine set up to the point of being able to pull the lpo pressure down to 45 psi at wot.
It retains 4000+psi at wot, but lpo drops off.

Pulled the drive belt to confirm that it was the second pump that was pulling the oil pressure down, and it was. With my second hpop disconnected, my oil pressure says at 60psi at anything over 1750 rpm....falls on its face hard when I get on it without the second pump helping out. Not so much fun to drive.

VERY good point Ivan. This is why you don't want to go too big on the second HPOP. Of course if you have injectors that demand such oil flow, the addition of auxillary LPOP may also be necessary.

Very good point. Plan on doing a lpo gauge when I add hpo. Wether it's a diesel site pump or a second pump... Went back to the dyno today with a new tune from Eric and did 660 on fuel and 707 with a small shot of spray. Can't complain about a 50-60 hp gain just by change of tunes. Truck feels a good bit stronger no doubt.

I say go for the second hpop. If that helps you maintain icp AND doesn't take away from lpo without having to add a second lpo pump then you can keep your same injectors and still make good power.

The power increase in tunes alone to me seems like reason enough to stick with the current injectors and go with more oil.

If it's anything like the 6.4 world (and were talking fuel vs oil) 2 stock pumps working at half of their potential will be much more reliable than one pump working near 100%

I have no plans to change injectors. I'm confident that these with more oil will be nasty. Hopefully I get my hands in a diesel site pump and that does the trick
