So promising updates to customers and customer support but suddenly putting on your website you are closed all of a sudden doesn't seem sketchy? We are only assuming the EPA got to them but have no solid proof. To me it seems like an exit scam. Stick your customers with subpar tuning, close up shop then reopen and sell them the same tuning under a different name.

I'm happy with my PIP v8 tunes; I just wish they were still in business and on the EZ LYNK platform so I had the SOTF option for daily driving versus towing.

You're right, there is no morals from tuning companies then. Its a 'provide a service while you can until the law catches up'. Wow they should use that in their marketing approach 'we will make you promises of updates but if the 'EPA' comes around, we won't owe you a plate of cold piss'.

H&S issued a recall so people could get their money back. So did Edge. Is PIP doing the same? If so, I'll stop right now.

Issue a refund? For tuning you received? Like everyone is saying they didn't plan for this im sure. Mike has no reason to lie about them getting popped by the EPA. It's a risk quit being whiney and suck up getting some new tuning. If you can't afford it sell the truck. This thread has become pointless.

This forum has become pointless with arrogant people.
And are you that naive that you can't read the previous comments to realize I didn't say i wanted a refund? He said HS and Edge took the money and ran just like PIP but they did not. They got busted, offered a recall and rebuilt. It was a ****ty comparison on his part.

As I understand it their settlement hasn't been finalized. It's very possible they will have to make the same offer H&S and others did. You're just he'll bent on throwing them under the bus when the situation hasn't played out yet.

Read my original post. I knew the consensus of this forum would be against it. Stating i thought their disappearance was suspect. Trying to bring up a discussion but it seems everyone here has direct connections with the EPA and has predicted the future.

And you even quoted Matt at ******* in which he basically said that tuning companies should stay strong and not give in. Yet everyone here is saying 'you're wining, just buy other tunes until they go out of business and then buy more'
Can you please attach a link about their settlement? You seem to know the facts that i can not find.
Again, my original post was stating that just shutting down their website with no information seemed unorthodox for a company. Hence why I made the drug dealer comment because when the cops catch up to a drug dealer, they usually skip town. Is it really that hard to understand what i am trying to get at here?

Grow up. Everybody knows that tampering with emissions equipment is illegal in every sense of the word. Shouldn't be a big surprise that tuning companies are being targeted. Also, many businesses go under everyour day and leave all their paying customers with warranty high and dry...but that shouldn't happen right?

So any sort of tuning device that alters emissions equipment is 100% Illegal to own?
