It's just gonna have to be a nasty looking rat rod for now. I don't have time to get the fiberglass body and paint done before race season. Next winter I'll do that.
I really need an OBS driver side header that fits up to Superduty uppipes. If I can't get one, I'll need to run stock exhaust manifolds. The steering linkage is 3" from the head.
Headed over to get my drive line made now. Jake is sending my fuel system. All I have to do now is get the fuel system and drive line put in, hang the doors, and bolt down the cab to the new mounts. Then it's test drive time!!!
Not the slicks. Lol! At least not till we get it on the track anyway. I have some old mud terrain tires I got with the obs that I'll go test drive with.
That blows!.. sometimes I think that it would benifit to run a 1/0 stranded copper wire the length of each frame rail to tie everything together with crimped on connections.
It's SOOOOOOOOOOOO close to done! All I have to do it swap the transmission, weld in the roll cage, build the new shock bracket, and bolt on the doors and front clip. Then just fill it with fluids and start it up!
