If the 350 is 2wd and both are set up similarly, there is essentially no change in gooseneck/5th wheel capacity, but anywhere from 500 to 1500 in GVWR. I'd definitely go with the 350.

Cool family member to give you trucks!

I'd take the 350. You'll need air bags no matter what, with the helper springs you will still sag.

Trailer looks great just throw on some air bags and higher rated tires on the truck. Mine is only 44' but truck and trailer loaded always came in at 24-25k combined and it towed great. Mine has living quarters up front so runs about 2700lb pin weight before loading the toys in the garage. I always just weigh the truck and trailer before each trip to make sure I have it loaded correctly it's easy to get over our 7k max rear axle weight with a 350 SRW.

Check out the toyo at2s still decent aggressive pattern and some of the sizes have a 4080lb rating. I was going to switch from my 35" toyo m/t's to the 295/65r20 at2 for to extra weight rating but truck was stollen before so the next truck will get them. They seemed to be the highest rated decent more aggressive tread pattern.

Yep added 4" beam between the frame and torsion axles, kept dragging the rear of the trailer and wanted it to sit more level with the torsion axles since the truck was lifted. Leaf spring axles guys just flip but torsion axles just need to unbolt and add in the beam
