That 516 on a stock truck is just a tad high for me to really believe, not trying to start anything but that had to be a very forgiving dyno to make those #s

Well I am in Texas so close to sea level and I guess my truck is just a freak on the H&S tunes cause another 2012 King Ranch dynoed after me running Spartan warhammer and he only put down a best of 476Hp. :walkin:

I would say 490 on a stock truck with a hot tune sounds pretty consistent.

I would say a single replacement kit bolted on the same truck would dyno a 40 rwhp increase on top of this number.

This is just my opinion after putting 55 of these kits out and hearing results.

With What Mike is posting it looks like they got some good results.

Mike,
How much fuel do you guys have left before you drain rail, or are you guys out right now?

I think its obvious we all have plenty of charger.

Can you post a dyno sheet of a CFD kit that dyno'd 530hp? I thought i remember guys with the cfd kit seeing mid 400hp numbers pretty consistently.

.

We had a customer dyno a month ago.
He put down 40 rwhp more than a warhammer tune.
Members on here stated the warhammer should be 490 and that was the generally accepted figure.
Now Mike says 490 is the generally accepted tuned 6.7 figure at Innovative.
So I have to agree 490 is a tuned 6.7 hp level.

On this particular dyno a fully built 2.6 pulling truck dynoed mid 600.
The warhammer dynoed 430ish
The cfd kit dynoed closer to 480 iirc.
There is a whole thread on here about it.
Like you have said that dyno was lower than others but consistant with results.

Without all the trucks being on the same dyno I know things can get confusing.

As close as The three companies making kits are geographically I am positive paths will cross and results will be more comparable.

Looks like my 16mo nephew's coloring books

LOL Told you it shifted 3 times like a boss!

I called Ted at Innovative and they were too busy. i really wanted to use the same dyno as other kits.
The shop we went to was very busy on the day before a holiday.
They had a copa camaro, zl1 camaro, and zr1 vette's. They were great and very excited to dyno the Ford. We just had time for the three runs. He asked if I wanted to alter the sheet and i said no. Everyone knows you get three runs, and like 01psd proved you guys know these trucks and saw the truck shifting, so the graph will be expected.

You made me do this with your comment STEVE.
This was for you buddy.:)
See how special you are to me:p

Dyno sheets and track times are great when it comes to numbers because there is no guessing. Without any data, it's just assumptions really. I've seen CFD kit dyno sheets good for 430-475. Never seen one past 500hp. If you have one, post it up.

I can't do it I am not a vendor here Steve.
The rules are the rules.
The lowest we have had is 475 and that dyno sheet is posted here in another thread.

I don't want to take away from the vendors here at all.
I just want to discuss 6.7 performance as an experienced member.

I want to stress these trucks are out of fuel not AIR.
I am sure if we discuss it, everyone will be in agreement.
We are talking about the same turbo's after all and they all clean up at the tailpipe.

We need to figure out the best way to get more fuel to these trucks reliably on a stock bottom.

The turbo kit was figured out 6 months ago.
And now some members that just don't like CFD can buy one from another company. This is a great thing for the 6.7 and I am glad to see the options.

Post the dyno sheet. We pinky promise we won't put the killer gare bear on you.

Ok lets just say it this way.
CFD is more into repairs out of the 55 kits I bet 40 went to fleet trucks and everyday guys just tired of replacing turbos.
That is more of what we do. Repair shop work, and performance upgrades.

MPD is a performance shop, and they build some awesome 6.4's. I wouldn't expect any less on the 6.7.

Lets just say for now the dyno sheets show a 40rwhp increase for CFD.
Lets say the dyno sheets show a 60 rwhp increase for MPD.

This way we can stop arguing and move on with a productive discussion.
Like I said I am not here to promote CFD products.
I am here to discuss 6.7 performance with other members.

Lets just settle on numbers and move on.

That sheet is worthless even WITH a baseline. CFD kits dyno around 430-475, whether they choose to remember or not.

.

Ok fine the CFD kit actually subtracts 40 rwhp off a stock truck Steve.
Its like a nascar restrictor plate.
We do that to make sure you don't have the power to break the bottom end.
We know guys are going to turn up the tune and we have no choice......

Whatever you want lets just pick some numbers and move on to talk about the fuel system.
Like I said we figured out the turbo 6 months ago.
And all the time up until now has been wasted on trivial name calling and us all fighting.

Or we can talk about benefits of wastegates and different turbo options.

Lets please just move on
