Man, I thought that was my bright idea. I liquefied a clutch and when I replaced it I put a 90 degree elbow and some rubber hose running out the bottom of the bell. Clutches are expensive and I wasn't about to replace another prematurely.
I've done it on a couple trucks now. If you run it through the hole in the pan rail at the bottom of the block it looks super clean and you'll never even notice it unless you pull the starter or the trans.
It's definitely a good idea for any manual trans truck. It's not a matter of if.... but when you will have a fuel/oil leak in the valley that douses the clutch down.
To the op... do you have ICP? Fast cranking and no firing sounds like no ICP.
Does the IPR still have the nut on it? Is it plugged in? Does the truck have oil in it? And does the truck crank with the ICP sensor unplugged?
