Some of the older style OE 6.4 intercoolers collected condensation and crankcase oil in them too. Though that issue usually didn't affect it till you were accelerating.

Mine does this too when cold. was about 10 degrees when I fired the truck up this morning and she smoked white for a good 5 minutes. After she warms up not more smoke. Just got studded as well

Kinda does look like oil, disconnect the down pipe from the exhaust and sick your finger in there and see if there is any oil/oily residue.

Would that turbo be under warranty you think if there is a problem with it?

Maybe but I think it is probably related to you having the CC vented to the atmosphere, 6.4's have a lot of blow by partly do to ring design on the pistons and they they see higher boost levels than your average daily driven diesel.

Try reversing the CC reroute and clean the oil mess up and see if it doesn't go away, I have seen several turbos that have had the same issue your having but all the seals and bears were fine it was just excessive CC pressure that was causing the issue.

So should I leave my crank case vent hooked up?

I still think it might be residual in the intercooler...

It's in on warranty right now so im just tryin to get some ideas for now. I hope it's not a turbo issue. If I have a problem I'd like to see an injector that way I don't need any items warrantied. But the only thing that makes me think it's not residual is it just started doin it and seems to be gettin worse. Does your truck do it?
