Anyone run the eBay Harley headlights? Also any recommendations and/or things to look for in a coolant filter system? And any other things I should get on the truck ASAP?

Also leveling kit suggestions? I was looking into the icon stage 1 with adjustable trac bar and dual stabilizers but that ends up brig over 2k. Little pricey for a leveling kit IMO

Yea thanks! my dad did the paperwork on the red 06 today. He wont havr it for a week or so though hea getting the cloth swapped out for leather.

I'm gonna pick up the gray 07 next weekend! Were both excited to have diesels back I'm our lives! Haha

Glad you found something man! I'm kinda in the same boat, except I'm kinda limited to one place for finding a truck. What I've noticed is that prices have gone up a bit, and that ccsbs are the most expensive :doh:

Yep I have all recon stuff sitting in my closet. Think i'll get hassled for silver reflectors instead of amber ones?

not sure, my rigs still have stock lights, in my opinion if lights up amber, it shouldnt be a big deal. i dont think most cops would hassle you for it, unless they;re very picky where you are.

Dad got his Friday, had the cloth seats recovered in leather and he is really happy with it. Says it turns over about 10 times before it fires so in gonna send him my live wire so he can check voltage on the FICM. Dealership gave him a 30 day warranty.

I picked mine up today. It's a littler tougher than I thought as far as dings and scratches but looks good from 5 feet away so in happy with it. I'm sure between the 20x12s and the city it won't stay perfect anyways so it'll make it hurt less when something does happen.

If the coolant res wasn't over filled, then I'd go ahead and do the EGR delete, studs and other bulletproofing steps, save time and money doing it all now. Sucks that that happened man!

30 day warranty? I would use it immediately.. Could be a clogged oil cooler, those square EGR coolers on that year truck is nothing but a POS.. Was the coolant at the MIN level when you looked at the truck?

Yea I really didn't want to spend that money yet. More importantly I don't have time to deal with all that now. I was hoping it was doing to make it tonchristmas break but guess not
