    Timing

high rpm w/ low commanded fueling would be revving it in park/neutral..or running a manually selected low gear/low range condition but not at full pedal.

    Manley rods

we use them quite frequently...no issues, ever.

    Cam gear removal

with a hydraulic press. when you go to put it back on, make sure you set the end play (by adjusting how far the gear slides onto the cam)..heating the gear in an oven will make putting it back on easy-peasy... and if you're doing any kind of performance (rebuild?)..then I'd recommend tig...

How much shimming on 910 springs ?

just to clarify, our beehive springs are not CompCams. not saying the above part numbers wouldn't work, are inferior, etc..nothing of the sort...there's always more than one way to skin a cat.

    Stoked...parts ordered from PMF

very nice!...I was actually looking at those exact ones last night (but the 0" lift ones, since mine is lowered-ish).

    Replacement of displacement

no.. when your HPOP can't reach the desired pressure, the PCM or chip program will still try to reach the 'desired mass fuel desired'... soo...when ICP falls ..the only thing the PCM/tuning can do to reach the desired MF is to lengthen the injector PW. add a better/larger/twin HPOP or a...

Difference between 350 and 450 front 4x4 axle

year(s) of each vehicle? I'm99% sure they all/both use D60's now...earlier trucks (pre 2001?) used D50 fronts on the F350 SRW trucks I believe.

    7.3 intermitent engine shake

Here's instructions on how to check fuel pressure. http://swampsdiesel.com/site/how_to_pdf/pdf/fuel_pressure.pdf Sent from my DynaTAC

Any improvement of S366/468 over 38r

there is absolutely zero reason a 200% nozzle to smoke in anything short of a hot street or race tune...before I sold my 6 speed truck running 200% nozzles...I had multiple multiple programs that I could grab 6th gear...at 35mph...stuff the pedal through the carpet and get exactly zero...

    7.3 intermitent engine shake

completely normal. if all...allllll the fuel & oil isn't evacuated from the cylinders before cranking, those fluids will be pushed out of the exhaust valves, into the exh manifolds...into the exhaust system, muffler, etc...and once the exhaust is coated with oil & fuel...it takes quite a bit of...

    Idm?

allllll the 95-2003 IDM's output the exact same voltage... the numbers on the respective IDM's represent different circuit board revisions...of which there are 4...however...again...assuming the IDM's are all in good working order...there is zero difference in the voltage from a 1995 through a...

    Swamps HVHF IDM

if your injectors have 400% nozzles, the mass fuel desired will need to be lowered (at light pedal position) to minimize the truck from hanging rpm, when you let off the pedal..so anything short of a 400/400..the IDM is plug and play.

    So it begins

    probably
  16. G

    So it begins

drag/sled pull tunes will have lots of injector duration and ICP (commanded) in the tune... you're going to get the hanging rpm when free revving with that size injector nozzle, in that kind of tune, with a Gen3. If you want to free rev it, let me know and I'll write a different tune...

    P1298 idm code

P1298 is normal with our HVHF IDM... basically...if you hear all 8 injs buzz...then the IDM is good. note that NON motorcraft inj wiring harnesses/gaskets (and cam sensors) can contribute to intermittent issues, assuming fuel/injs are in good condition

Main cap walking/fretting on stock tune.

nope. 94.5-03 are equally hit or miss as far as rigidity.
